—An ear wrenching cry, escaped from her lips, and a lone tear slid down from her greenish - eyes. Her legs buckled, and she fell down on the ground as her vision went hazy.
Everything had gone so fast.
She had gone blind when the monster was about to attack Alexis. The normal composed girl, had jumped recklessly in front of the other, and taken all the torturous hits, but she didn't mind it.
She had already lost so much, and she didn't want to lose her.
if dead feels like this, it’s really horrid. She let out an humorless chuckle as she looked at the sky. Nina couldn't move, everything was hurting so badly,and she was sure that she was losing too much blood to even survive this.
She closed her eyes, and she could hear the distant laughs from the past. Why, did people always remember the past when they were about to die ?
Alexis, She turned head to the side, and was relieved to see that there was nothing wrong, with the other girl. Another painful cry escaped from her lips, it was hurting so much..
It kept going on, with its torture, the punches, the kicks, but she didn't mind the pain, or the fact that’s she was about to die as long as the other girl was fine.
More tears slid down her face, she was broken, her bones, and everything in her body was. Nina was sure that her soul was shattered too to some extent.
She found the last bit of power in her body, and with that the monster fell into a dreamless abyss together, with her.
