Normally, Patrick would’ve been grumpy about having to work over a weekend, but this time it was for a good cause so he had at least a thin smile on his face. His higher ups had chosen to send him to a fundraising event on behalf of the company to present one of those giant donation checks you see on TV. The fundraiser was being hosted by the local fire department. Perhaps it was somewhat self-serving, but Patrick didn’t mind being in the company of several strapping firefighters for the duration of the event. He was actually quite pleased when he stepped up in the barbecue line and noticed a familiar face accepting a burger on his plate ahead of him. Peering over the other man’s shoulder, Patrick teased, “Funny. I could’ve sworn you were more of a hot dog guy.”

Rhiannon’s always loved the school functions, especially the yearly fair the school throws in honor of senior’s raising money for their class trip. This is also the first year where she’s been excited to have someone to go with, other than whatever forced boyfriend she’s allowed herself to have. She’d doubted, from the minute she asked Zoe about going with her, this was the brunette’s kind of thing, but Rhia had given Zoe the biggest damn smile when she’d said yes. “C’mon, we have to ride the ferris wheel, first,” Rhia beams, her fingers tangled in Zoe’s with no ounce of shame. Why hide someone she’s really proud about being with? Everyone else’s opinions don’t matter to Rhia and she’s not ashamed of what she shares with Zoe. Of what they have together. @undrcssed​

“What do you fucking mean you can’t get out to me? I don’t give a shit if there’s a bad storm coming in- cry me a fucking river, that’s not my problem, I don’t give a fuck. I’m paying you to- hello? Hello? Fucking son of a bitch!” 

In a sudden show of the impulsive childishness she was known for, Rosalia drew back and smashed her phone into the ground, letting out a frustrated growl- it was hardly the first time she’d broken something expensive during a fit of anger, but it took her a moment to realize that now she was out in bum-fuck nowhere with a broken down car and no phone. Great. 

Drawing her coat tighter around herself as the wind picked up slightly, Rosalia walked back to where her car was parked on the side of the empty road and kicked one of the tires with a stiletto clad foot. She didn’t even know what was wrong with the car- she didn’t know anything about the damn thing other than the fact that it’d been really expensive and drew lots of attention. That was all that mattered to her anyway. 

Rosalia was bitterly plotting all the ways she was going ruin that jackass who thought he could hang up on her when she heard someone pulling up behind her. Arms crossed, she squinted at the man as they got out of their ride and started walking towards her. “If you’re going to try to rob me, you better think again. I have my brass knuckles on me and I know how to use them.”

Raine chews on a cherry sour straw as she tidies up her main working area at the dispensary, which sort of impedes her progress but that’s Raine for you. She’s glad that it’s just her and Aamir locking up tonight even though it’s raining out and she does not own an umbrella. They can finally kick back--without Jadyn. Do whatever. “I’m dead serious. The guy had a Grimace tattoo on his ass. Y’know from McDonald’s? He showed me a picture of it. It was oddly cute. His butt, not the tattoo.” She clarifies, snapping off the last bit of her candy to point with it for emphasis. “Speaking of tattoos, is that a thing we should do? Get matching ones? ‘Cause I’m down if you are.” @undrcssed​

Turning the car off, Ren grinned down at his phone, scrolling through all the texts in the group chat. ‘I told you I wasn’t kidding,’ he texted before snapping a quick selfie of himself flashing a lazy grin and a thumbs up with the strip club visible behind him. It’d been a stupid a stupid dare from some of his buddies, really juvenile considering that they were a couple years too old to still be acting like frat boys, but that wasn’t going to stop him. 

Slipping his phone into his back pocket, Ren made his way into the establishment with a self assured swagger to his step- he’d definitely never done anything like this before, but hell if he was going to let that keep him from having fun. “Hey, I’m looking for a manager or owner or something?” he called out as he looked around, looking for someone to help him with his task.
