❅ - keeping warm/keeping cool techniques✎ - taste in music/literature☤ - self care/first aid habits✪ - favourite food/eating habits☁ - ideal holiday

❅ - Scott is from North East England. He does keeping warm incredibly well... as in, unless it’s below 0, he won’t wear a jacket, and, even then, there has to be a wind. This also means he can’t do heat well. He will just hog any method of cooling, sitting in front of fans, etc. He really can’t cope with being too warm.

✎  - He’ll listen to whatever. He’s mostly a Queen fan, though, and will gladly belt out Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of his lungs. Has a soft spot for old Newcastle-themed songs, too.

☤ - Scott takes pretty good care of himself, despite being a self-proclaimed carnivore. He eats enough of the green stuff to keep him healthy, works out, has a pretty physical job... First Aid, he’s one of SAMNEW’s emergency medics, so is pretty good at first aid. He’s a godawful patient, though, and will likely fight any attempts at coddling him.

✪  - As mentioned above; anything meat, but there’s this nice pizza place back home that he always goes to, then, of course, there’s his mam’s cooking. As for eating habits; when alone, or with people he knows doesn’t care, he’s a slob. Eating with his hands, chewing with his mouth open, etc. In a fine dining environment, he’s pretty damn polite and clean. He only eats when he’s hungry, too.

☁ - Camping somewhere in North Yorkshire, maybe, on a nice, British summer, plenty of alcohol, with his mates. In some field somewhere where they can do what the fuck they want.

What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. )

Happy lays on his stomach, spread open to cover as much as the bed as possible. Describe why they do this — optional. He sleeps alone, why not use the whole bed?

Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.

If Hap wasn’t covered in tattoos, he’d be/is covered in scars. If you look, really look you’ll be able to see the missing ink on a few tattoos where bullets have grazed or a knife has cut.His complexion isn’t the clearest. Sun spots, a birthmark here and there, and a few sprawled freckles lay on his face.

Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?

Accent no. His voice is unusually raspy, deep and loud.

Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?

Hap has always been considered a weird one. Even if his thoughts are easily spilled out, no one gets them.A word he can’t pronounce correctly is cinnamon. He can’t wrap his tongue around the word and hates the spice for it.

What are their chief tension areas?

Shoulders and neck. Hap’s rough, always has been and messing up his shoulders is not an uncommon thing for him. He just grunts through the pain.

I give up easily. Too easily. First sign of trouble, I back off, back away. I'm bad at confrontation, and when I do manage it, it goes awry, or backfires, so I don't often bother. It takes me being very, very upset or hurt to even say anything. I'd rather tear myself apart quietly, in privacy, then confront or address it with someone else.

I never really talked to Jax about our relationship falling apart. It was easier to ignore it. And I know he thought I just didn't care, or I was too fucked up to manage it, but I really just couldn't handle telling him how badly he was hurting me, and risk him laughing it off like it was nothing to him, because I really believed he didn't care.

And I can't say that he would have laughed at me, in hindsight, he cared, but that's always my assumption- that I'll be belittled for expressing myself, so I just don't. Even if it means I'll lose everything I care about.
