Nope--but he's definitely a descendant of him though! Philip has human ears and Belos has smallish witch ears

If you would please consider, for no discernable reason; David Lynch's Dune, but made with Flash Gordon aesthetics and acting. Also, The Thing with E.T. and the Mac And Me based aliens. Also also, an unedited The Departed, but its The Happytime Murders.

OMG The Thing with Mac and Me aliens. That’s hilarious, and I want someone to do an edit where they show the crew from The Thing looking at the creature, and it turns out to be the Mac and Me aliens. And it’s narrated by Paul Rudd.

I'm just waiting for the story of, a coworker calls ahead to the firehouse to let them know a "fire" was going to happen and to specifically send The Firefighter when it happens. They'll arrive and your boss will go to meet them and he'll find Her, point at You, and relay that you are particularly "traumatized" and could She take a look at you. Brain freeze/disasterality may or may not commence

Helena knows how she got every scar. When they finally run out of energy, Dinah likes to lightly trace the criss crossing lines on her back and legs and arms and stomach and butt and- absently mindedly asked about one once. Helena very matter of factly describes the event, only really perking up in her telling when she said she got her target after 3 tries, and pointing out the scars from those attempts. Dinah randomly points at another one, Helena just shrugging as that one was "just" a bullet

(2) Again and again, Dinah slowly hears them all, finally getting to a somewhat fresh one above her elbow. For the first time Helena is actually embarrassed, covering it and stammering it was nothing. Dinah makes her sit, holding her hands in her, saying it's okay, it's not silly, she's fine. Biting her lip (Dinah has to suck in her own breath for different reasons) Helena slowly says it was from just before they started really being "together" -

(3) red faced, she admits she fell sideways onto a coffee table practicing trying to walk in heels she'd borrowed from Harley for their first date because she got distracted thinking about what Dinah was going to wear. Dinah then remembers Helena wore flats (and a butch-femme suit)that night and was still taller than her, who *was* in heels

Oooooh my. Now you ruined me, because I won’t be able to think of anything else until I draw it. Oooh, fuck. Yes. Scar tracing for an awkward assassin with a tragic past and an adorkable present? Fuck yes. The potential.

(So. I tried writing some fluff. But my angst showed. A lot. Watch out)

Dinah has somes scars of her own, but they’re... well, they’re just scars.

A burnt spot inside her forearm, from when she worked at a dinner; a cut on her wrist from a drunken night at a bar, when she had too much to drink to numb the new grief tearing at her insides; some stitches on her calf, from the first times she got in a fight, and would could only really use her legs — then a faint but permanent bruise, when she finally started using her arms for defense; she has an almost completely closed up piercing scar above her belly button, from when she decided a septum ring was more of her thing; and... that’s that.

But Helena... she has different scars.

She has no ordinary life behind them. Fuck, she has no ordinary life at all. There was no part-time job to get by, no wild nights, no teenager experimenting with a sewing needle, no simple life with simple wounds. Each scar feels heavy. Each mark has a darker, deeper story behind it.

Helena explain the cuts on her palms she got while training with knives; she shows the small line on the inside of her arm, when she broke it in three places, learning to tackle and submit an opponent; she has a few more like that one, from when her “uncles” tried to get her to focus on revenge through pain, and they wouldn’t let her out of a strong grip, even after she tapped the ground several times; she shows her first stab wound, from her first night out stalking a criminal; she shows those marks with a light, careless voice, despite the heavy weight implicated in each moment. 

But then, one mark finally breaks her calm demeanor. One faint line crossing her bicep, — which Dinah traces softly, leaving goosebumps in her wake —, finally gets a hold of Helena, entirely. There’s a pause. Those big brown eyes blink once, twice, three times, before she licks her lips and tells the tale behind it.

“This one’s... It’s from that day,” she brings her fingertips to the thin scar, joining Dinah’s hand on her skin. “The only time I was hit, during it all,” she breathes, and pulls her hand away, as if the line there burned and hurt her, even now. “The entire family was gunned down, and I walked off with this. The bullet just grazed me. I think my mother took most of it for me”

Helena goes silent, then. She’s quieter than ever, and Dinah can do nothing but be there. She moves closer, hugs her tighter and says nothing. Dinah has no idea what to say.

She gets it then, why Helena is so casual about all of her other scars. She understands now why their stories don’t bother her and the near-death events are just events. Dinah knows no other scar matters anymore — when a single one encompasses the entirety of her pain.

Helena stopped caring for the marks on her skin. She doesn’t show them proudly, and she doesn’t hide them. She’s indifferent to them, almost like she seems indifferent to the phantom pain within them. 

Because nothing will ever hurt more than the bullet that missed her.

i adore game grumps. and i love that episode because i never played the games on sonic mega collection, all i did was look at the comic covers

I don't know how good it is, but there is a CGI reboot of Inspector Gadget

A few people sent me messages about this! I had no idea a reboot existed. I’ll have to check it out.
