Daily thing #1189 (Subject)
Map of Unera from the Ranger of the Titan Wilds series by J.D.L. Rosell.
Meu xodó #Unera #ClubeDoUno #Uno1.5 (em Tabapuã)
Name: Unera (top) and Grubby (bottom)
Debut: Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
Get a load of this! Larvae in the media that aren’t caterpillars! Unera and Grubby are found in the beehive level of Tree Zone, and I feel the need to stress how wonderful it is that there is a beehive level. Did you know that typical layered cartoon beehives are actually based on human-made straw hives, and bee-made ones are more like randomly shaped slabs of honeycomb on a tree branch? Bees are fun.
Unera is a happy little larva. It’s a baby and not doing anything wrong. Why is it an enemy? I can see why Grubby is an enemy, though. Angry AND pointy! As you can probably tell, Grubby is the only of the two to get an English name, and the manual calls it “a slug with a stinger”, even though neither of those things are true.
