Gods of Chaos
what’s interesting about the eldritch horrors of Magu Chan God of Destruction is that like their lovecraftian inspiration they aren’t inherently “divine”.
Eternal beings that were surprised when humans came on the scene.
Muscar was surprised at being called a god by his first follower.
Funnily enough, this thought came to me given the Christmas holiday season: Muscar is the only eldritch primordial who probably understands the appeal of monotheism and likely wishes he could believe in an all powerful loving entity at the center of all.
Yet with his perceptive powers, and his ability to nudge probabilities and thus write Fate, he cannot believe in such a being.
What is scarier than the ending of The Man with X-ray Eyes movie?, where he starts to see SOMETHIN terrifying at the center of existence?
To some it would Seeing at the center of everything: nothing.
