You know what? I should post some of my maps I make for my D&D groups. And now I can post the latest, since my players have found it!
Map of Ossia from the Darkwater Legacy series by Cris Wooding.
Map of the North-west Mainland from Dawn of Wonder by Jonathan Renshaw.
Map of the worldbuilding project World of Kiyln by noisykrkt.
Is this map still canon to your stuff, and would you be okay clarifying what some of the areas are? The image I saved was blurry, so I'm having a hard time recreating it. Still working on the worldbox recreation, though!
Omg I forgot about this! I’ve updated this map since then, and I honestly haven’t worked on Uddesh in so so long, it’s a project I’ve unfortunately abandoned as it was a bit bigger than I could handle at the time 💔 maybe I’ll reuse elements for it someday, but for now it’s just kind of stagnant. Here’s the current map though! Lmk if you need any further clarification :))
Sorry this took so long to reply to, I think I missed the notif that I received this ask 💔
The Outcast
I wasn't able to upload these photos onto FFN or AO3 when I tried, but here's the map of my Ninjago fanfic, the Outcast! They may still need some updating or editing, but they're close enough 😂
If anyone is curious, I used Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator (:
The map for the part of the world most of my D&D campaigns take place in.
Forgot to put in a compass rose like I wanted and the "Map of Greater Gariah" title but I don't feel like fixing it now.
Hopefully tumblr doesn't mangle this via its compression algorithm. I have scanned and composited this map from its two page spread in the box set of the manga.

NYM - The Darion Imperium (North)
"The Northern Imperium is considered the strongest of the three Imperial Spheres, - economically speaking, that is. Its lands are rich in natural resources, and it holds provinces that possess plenty of potential lumber, as well as ideal agricultural lands.
There are some exceptions, though, as the Northern Imperium also lays some claim over the Cindered Desert, where it is said that a forest once existed, which burned down as Andarien wandered through it; her steps aflamed in her wake. There is little value in the desert now, and so it remains largely ungoverned and bandit-riddled, despite the reign of the Northern Imperium. However, the desert does border to the independent Magocratic State of Pyntax; a valuable source of magicked books and mage inventions.
But overall, the Northern Imperium provides much of the necessary food for the rest of the Imperium, and there is often excess that is readily traded to nearby nations, such as Avinter, or the nations of the Thalian Alliance."

OLD MAPS part 1
I kind of had a problem as a kid living entirely in my head and in the worlds I illustrated for myself. They were high fantasy lands full of other cultures and magics, dragons and beasts and heroes.
For someone who was lonely and read too much I have to say, I think I got pretty good at doing these maps. I’d doodle sections of them and little characters in the margins of work at school.
Here’s the first of a huge number of maps from when I was in middle and high school that I just rediscovered in a box in my closet.
**forgive the shadows and the lack of color. I have my phone in black and white so everything is pretty bland and I also used to only have pencils when I was younger so I did everything with number 2 pencils haha.
Received a copy of Song of Monsters by an author I made a map for a few years ago! I can't wait to dive into it!

OLD MAPS part 2 (part 1 right before this!)
You can see I repeat names a lot as I make maps, trying to make the perfect map for each name. I was young and would become obsessed with these places, daydreaming about them for hours. I’d write character sketches and histories for them.
Anyways, enjoy the work of 12-17 year old me.
