──This world is sick. It has been five hundred long years since the skies split, gods trembled, reality tore apart, and something dark crept in through the cracks. The world was enveloped in Starlight, a virulent fog that eats at the fates of all living things. In this world, everyone has a predetermined fate they must live with, yet there is one man with no fate at all.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝

──Plunge into the world of Urvara as Moriyan, The Unfated, who barely escapes the clutches of the demented Kaisar Caraka as he flees his burning jungle village. Keep your wits about you as you become the target of The Pillars, godlike rulers seeking to use you in their games. Discover the source of deadly Starlight, unravel The Pillars' twisted schemes, and carve your path as the only Unfated in a predetermined world.

𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲

──Moriyan wields the Blade of the Unfated, a mighty cleaver crafted from a shifting astral metal which he brandishes with fierce determination. Hone your skills in precise, fast-paced combat against bloodthirsty soldiers, twisted beasts, and dangerous spirits. Take on powerful bosses and even defy Death herself as you master intense parry-based swordplay.

PARRYING AND REFLECTING ──Feel the rhythm of battle as you deflect astonishing flurries with precise timing and find the perfect opportunities to strike. Parry attacks from any direction to weaken an enemyʼs Stance bar. By staying aggressive, you can cut through their defenses, breaking their Stance and executing them.

EXECUTIONS ──Every single enemy in BATARA: FATE UNBOUND has their own unique finisher animation for you to relish. You can execute enemies by plunging from a high place, sneaking up from behind, or by breaking their stance.

DISCOVERING SWORD FORMS ──Upon defeating certain powerful foes or completing NPC questlines, Moriyanʼs blade will gain the ability to mimic the shape of their weapons to unleash powerful attacks and abilities that can turn the tide of battle.

PARRY DEATH HERSELF ──Even on the verge of death, rely on your reflexes as the Gaping Maw of Ulquibel closes in. By executing a perfect parry, Moriyan can defy death to live on. Yet, while you may seek to prolong your life, with each escape her jaws close faster and faster.
