I just didn’t like the general way they handled Cas’ story in season 9. It was so weird after season 8 tbh. And yes, sure the writers are the ones to “blame”. After all they come up with the episodes and the way they are portraying the brothers dealing with Cas and his approaching death (I also still don’t get why he dies when his grace runs out and he doesn’t just become human again. Well maybe it’s the “stolen” part of the grace that means he’s dying). I don’t understand why the writers give him a storyline where he is clearly getting closer to death every day and then they just push him aside and no one acknowledges it anymore? Pretty sure Season 8-Sam/Dean would have done everything to help Cas and now it’s just.. Ignored?

no yeah yeah, same!! after how they fucked up human!cas' storyline and what happened later...just think about it, if you look at how season 10 started in regards to Cas it looks like season 9 didn't even happen?? heaven's gates are still closed, they have metatron locked up yeah but he still manages to manipulate the characters... I do think Cas' character evolved after his human storyline but we barely got to actually /see/ him changing, it just kind of happened??

and ugh yeah, just watching 10x14 it looks like Sam and Dean don't care about him, they barely look at him :// 

and also now would be a perfect moment for the writers to make Cas stay at the bunker! I mean he was looking for Cain but that's over now so??? what are they going to make him do?? Claire and Hannah are gone so now what?? they could just make him stay with the boys and rest for a while, but of course that's not going to happen....
