Ellooo! just wanted to say I may not be active until like mid june except for posting things like art trades cuz college exists

I got my graphics tablet yk and got the hang of it, but college is not letting me breathe so I can't do anything other than finishing art trades and similar things I owe The semester ends around June 6 so I may take a break to plan things or get stuff ready before coming back and after being well rested because welp I haven't been feeling so good lately Longer talk below (rant/vent kinda)

Dude I have no time for myself, my art, my friends, nothinggg. I recently posted small art because I feel kinda guilty about the asks but that means sacrificing homework time. I even have a 1 year old ask, it hurtss I try to be grateful for the studying opportunity cuz most people here in colombia don't get the chance. But man the workload is insane! Looks like they tryna wear students out so they give up! wtf??? I don't even fully like the major unghh english and languages is ok and interesting but teaching is not looking promising, specially with the type of """students""" we have at schools nowadays I MUST finish it tho, I'm halfway through and this isn't even just for myself but my fam, we're poor af I have to do something Couldn't choose a major on art or animation here because it's COLOMBIA. it's a waste of time here! nobody gafs abt art or animation here. "better to choose something you like than something that gives you money" NOT WHEN YOU'VE BARELY GOT FOOD IN YOUR FRIDGE augh It hurts to want to do so much and only get a bit of it done. Life, college, people and almost everything is tryna discourage me from art. But I won't stop no matter the pain, it's still my dream

I need a break of art though until I finish the semester. Recently tumblr's only been a reminder of how slow I am, seeing so many things I have to do plus art projects on hold, been making my mental status worse I guess The stress is kinda worrying me. I've been having terrible leg pain, head pain etc etc like it's getting to my body or something. will have to go see a doctor perhaps :[

I'll be back in half a month or less. If I owe you an art trade or anything like that I'll rush as much as I can on that though!! won't leave y'all waiting too much

When I'm back I'll get back to comics and stuff

CAN WE ALSO TALK ABOUT PADAWAN OBI WAN??? I feel like he’s under appreciated

Yes!! Okay, to be honest - he’s my least favorite Obi in the prequels if I had to rank, but that’s purely because I’m a slut for a good beard and full head of hair. That being said, Phantom Menace is so important because it’s the most significant Obi-Wan character development from the prequels. From Maul to Qui-Gon to young Anakin, he undergoes so much in such a short amount of time and I’m so fascinated by his headspace after TPM ends. 

I really want to explore, writing-wise, how Obi-Wan has to struggle with the grief of losing Qui-Gon while at the same time becoming a Master before he’s ready and taking on this prodigal child as his own. It’s so nitty-gritty and interesting to me, and Padawan Obi gets slept on more than he should. 

Maybe I’m really sounding way more like the actor I am than a writer talking about this, but something about that shift between Episodes I and II really fascinates me from a character perspective. There’s a lot we can understand about Obi-Wan in the later Episodes from those moments. 

Also, he’s such a nugget clean-shaven with his fluffy buzz cut and Padawan braid and we need to talk about that more
