The ungratefull gentleman

So, here I was in a fancy restaurant, waiting for my Cheese paper paneer dosa that I just ordered when I noticed a humble old man who was employed as a waiter in that restaurant. He looked like an old man who if was employed in a government job would be just months away from his retirement. I could not possibly comprehend how a man like him ended up in a place like this, doing a work like this. He was walking with a limp, he seemed to be in pain. Pain from his leg or his life, i wondered.

Now, at the same restaurant, in a far corner were seated three men, wrapped around in formal shirts, pants along with ties and clean polished shoes. Definitely seemed to be employed in some good companies, definitely living a good live, definitely from a good family.

The old man was given the responsibility of that table. So, when the food was ready he came in with the food and placed it in the table in front of them. Being the humble man he was, he even started serving the food to the three gentleman sitting there. Forget about being respectful and asking the old man to stop serving them(which they could have done it by themselves, of course), they didn't even bother looking at him or even stop whatever nonsense they were blabbering and thanking him. I felt disgusted. I could do nothing but observe.

So, in hopes that this experience of mine will change even a single GENTLEMAN out there, I'm sharing this.

Remember how your grandparents used to treat you when you were kids. We too should show the love and respect that they deserve.

Some People Need Slapping...

Trust my brother to come over and shit all over our Christmas. He lives with his baby boy and pregnant girlfriend, moans at me about independence, and then leans on my mum and dad to help them out every week financially. But that's not enough. Her family showers my nephew with gifts and nonsence non stop, so when we are short and can't buy him a single thing, my brother gets all annoyed and uppity. Their car is so full of presents that they can't take their dog, that they left at our house days ago without warning, home with them tonight. Their dog by the way who constantly tries to mount our girl who has bad hips and is in season!!!!!! So that's been an added Christmas bonus!! So they come to say Hi and pick up my nephew's present, which we ran out of money and couldnt get (A requested H&M gift card). And he kicks up a fuss to the point my mum is nearly in tears. Saying how she had enough to get me something but not her grandson. (Keep in mind I gave half my wages to the household, so Christmas could actually happen.) Now, I'm not saying it because I'm a selfish evil bitch, but Paris will not remember a single fucking thing about his first Christmas and I'm sure parents are all sensitive and take everything personally but you know what, what they can tell him is that his other grandmother paid for new tires on his parents car so they could keep mobile, they could tell him that his grandma never let his pregnant Mum go hungry or his first dog or his ungrateful father. They could tell him that his parents would rather smoke then make sure they have money enough to cover his food and that's when, AGAIN, grandma comes through for them all, but something tells me they fucking won't. Ungrateful people make me incandescent with rage
