My birthday project- a pair of “unicorn socks” made with Red Heart super stripe yarn, they are more like slipper socks, perfect to lay around in once winter is here.

I made them using a basic toe-up pattern, the lace is from the Frilly Filly scarf pattern in one of the Stitch and Bitch books- pretty sure it’s the second one but not sure. It’s pretty easy to memorize and looks good with this yarn -kind of rainbowish, I think. This is the second set of socks that I designed and actually wrote down the pattern- it’s getting easier to remember to write down every step.

These are officially the most colorful clothing I own and I love them. I knit almost the entire first one while camping and the second while watching a variety of Marvel movies.
