Look what I did!!👁👁 MY pattern In "print" 😁 I am, dare I say, proud (gulp) of my self ☺️. #makemodernmagazine . I was going to do a big chat about how this came to pass, but I am f**king knackered after an incredibly taxing weekend. Everyone's ok, I just felt like we were all walking the tight rope of meltdown all weekend. It's exhausting managing other people emotional states, especially when you are feeling a bit snappy🙄. My birthday project- a pair of “unicorn socks” made with Red Heart super stripe yarn, they are more like slipper socks, perfect to lay around in once winter is here.

I made them using a basic toe-up pattern, the lace is from the Frilly Filly scarf pattern in one of the Stitch and Bitch books- pretty sure it’s the second one but not sure. It’s pretty easy to memorize and looks good with this yarn -kind of rainbowish, I think. This is the second set of socks that I designed and actually wrote down the pattern- it’s getting easier to remember to write down every step.

These are officially the most colorful clothing I own and I love them. I knit almost the entire first one while camping and the second while watching a variety of Marvel movies.

I only created the pattern for the body of this blanket, and let my hands take me where they wanted to go on the border. I'm on the final round, which ended up being a ruffle-type thing; I like it, and I hope Baby KDA's parents do, too.
