So I worked on the unicorn blankets today. I got all the pieces sewn together. I did the fringe on one of the blankets. Now I just need to give it a mane. And then fringe and mane on the second one. And then I'm finally done with those! They are cute, but very much not something I would normally make. But when my suuuuuuper sweet aunt asks me to make something and pays me too. Well. It's happening. I have 22 squares on the mitered square blanket for this month. I did at least 5 of them today. That's not too bad considering it is only the 6th. I am hoping to get ahead because the summer months there may not be much knitting going on. It gets pretty hot here, and we can't afford to run the AC constantly. Plus, it is good to conserve energy. So, if we can keep the AC off we do. And who wants a wool blanket on them when it is hot and humid? I also baked bread today. It was a "peasant bread". It turned out super yummy. I really like baking bread. I need to keep trying tons of recipes. I find it really fun. I feel like I did a lot today. I feel like tomorrow might suck. I may have overdone myself. Which means tomorrow I will be a lump. Also, anxiety. I has it right now. Yay.
