(This post was meant to go up yesterday but it just didn't happen until now. There will be another separate post for today as well) 🔮 I was startled to find out that it was Unicorn Day, and I was completely unaware! When I sat down in the evening to do a tarot draw, I thought to myself "Doesn't my deck have a card featuring a Unicorn?" so I decided to shuffle, search for it and the two cards on either side, and let that be the basis for my reading. 🦄 Turns out my card features an alicorn, and the card's attribute is Fantasy, as in maintaining a healthy creative relationship with fantasy, but also a heathy boundary between fantasy and reality. 🦄 The theme of the Five of Scrolls the five Arthurian virtues of courage, loyalty, generosity, hopefulness, and compassion; Excalibur pinning the scrolls is a symbol manifest of "Noblesse Oblige". The Storyteller card speaks of the shamanic journey, the transcendence to Authentic Self. That boundary between fantasy and reality often coincides with the path of spiritual growth, and the path of a witch is one that requires both real world discipline and belief in the fantastic. ✨ As a fan of MLP: Friendship is Magic, it strikes me as no coincidence that Twilight Sparkle transcends as an alicorn when she learns the qualities of friendship each of her friends represents and comes to a place of Understanding Her Path. 🦄 #30daysofTarot #unicornday #unicorntarot
