IS THE WORLD WILLING TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH?
Humans we like to refer from history in search of the truth. Learning from Jesus Christ, he was living in the current at his times. The truth we are searching for is revealed in our times because of the development of human intellect and spirituality. The entire prophesy in the scriptures were looking forward to our times for the revelation to be revealed. No wonder the last book in the Bible is Revelation. As we are seeking from the past to understand now, God is looking forward to us to fulfill the prophesy from out pouring of His spirit in our times (Acts 2:17).
The truth was meant to be revealed as Jesus explains in the following verse.
John 16:12-13 12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
What is yet to come is what we should be focusing on.
Watch my video as we pursue the truth in our times.

If God is suffering as a parent as a result of the human condition then what can I do about it? What can anyone do about it? My wife says just love people I interact with. If everyone did that on the individual level then it would make a difference to God and other people in the world. Lots of people do that already even if they aren’t religious by observing the golden rule to “not do to others that you wouldn’t want them to do to you”. That attitude was around even before Confucius walked the earth. If the Jewish people have been around for three thousand years already, and Hindus even before that, and conscientious people even before that; and have developed to the point where they are now – then what does that say about any group with a concept that they are chosen people with a lineage? If God is suffering then the best anyone can do is to try to love others as God loves them. The principle lifestyle is one way of approaching that but not the only way. In my opinion if God is suffering, then that alone transcends any group or discipline – don’t you think? If that is the case then if we want to go further with it then perhaps someone like Moon would develop something like he has on his own level. I think the trouble with Moonies is that they keep clinging onto the parents apron strings and aren’t venturing out on their own. Do you know that is what Moon wants members to do? If we did that then the whole character of the movement would be more vital and alive and diverse. Instead we have gone inwards and become a ghetto, and the result is what you see today. Wouldn’t it be radical if members could transcend their own group, like they are supposed to, and reach out to all other people and groups without any conditions expected of them, or strings attached? Instead we see a group that is just the opposite of that, and we did it to ourselves through our attitudes. An unconditional heart of love towards others transcends any conflict in the family, or differences between us. Imagine doing Home church without expecting people to join your church, or get them to believe the things that you do – just interacting with a heart of love. Face reality – the Moons as the true family is a hard sell. Just people in a position like a beacon or frame of reference. I believe that God wants everyone to have a true family and I believe Moon encourages that. The ideals however can inspire people to be better individuals and interact well in their families and others in their neighborhoods. I am sorry I don’t mean to be preachy, it just comes out like that. I am a sincere person trying to understand how I can help God and faced with the ideals and reality in the church movement. I don’t think it is any different anywhere else. People are the same anywhere you go – don’t you think? Maybe I need to pray more to transcend the misbehavior. I don’t know. My reality sure is very different than when I first joined. Regardless of any group of people or what their approach is, I wonder what the most effective strategy to liberate God from this mess is, if it isn’t becoming better people as individuals – for example the Foundation of faith and Substance and all that. So do you think God is suffering – and if you do, is there a practical solution you may have? Please spare me the usual moonie bullshit and give me a real solution. I mean members are supposed to represent the messiah, aren’t they? If you don’t have an answer, and your leaders don’t have an answer, then what the hell good are you saying you are a messianic group? Better to work with an already established foundation like Christianity if your house is not in order. And it isn’t!
Do you know what God does when He can’t work through a group anymore? He works with another one, or in another way. If you feel that the church is utterly missing the mark – then make the change you want to see.
Functional Polytheism and the Death of the Unification Church
Polytheism is not in any sense compatible with the Divine Principle, namely the Principle of Creation. The oneness of God is celebrated, and other views, such as Hindu polytheism and the orthodox Christian view of the Trinity, are seen as illogical conceptions of God. Yet somehow a lot of Second Generation, especially those with a stronger sense of the Unificationist cosmology and a longing for a connection to the True Parents, have become functional polytheists.
Growing up, I was encouraged by my parents, church leaders, and especially Dae Mo Nim (Hyo Nam Kim), to report to True Parents throughout the day. My mornings started in front of Rev. Moon and his wife, celebrating their appearance and creating a connection in my heart to them. I would often repent to them and ask for their guidance. I knew of their humanity, but I was told they could in some way offer me blessings and wisdom through the Spirit World. I was even told Rev. Moon would sometimes talk back through his picture, as some Japanese members reported this happening to them. To reach such a spiritual openness was my goal.
As the UC's theology has gotten stranger, especially towards the end of Moon's life, functional polytheism is becoming more and more apparent.
UC members are now instructed to address the "Heavenly Parents" in prayer, instead of the tradition "Heavenly Father" and the more politically-correct, In Jin-endorsed "Heavenly Parent".
Rev. Moon is celebrated as the 'god of the night', though, again, not in a polytheistic sense, but to acknowledge his oneness with God.
I say not in a polytheistic sense, but... it really is not that far from polytheism. We mock Christian Trinitarians to be functional polytheists often, but how much different are we--if at all.
The core of the Unification Church's doctrine, that being the Divine Principle, is getting lost in the strange spiritualism and cosmology developed by Dae Mo Nim, the insane mysticism of the late Rev. Moon, and the bizarre theological insights and political moves of Hak Ja Han. I always saw two paths for post-Moon Unificationism, one being an ecumenical movement that ushered in the Kingdom of Heaven through family-centered initiatives and interreligious and intercultural cooperative projects, and another being a more religious, Judaeo-Christian, Divine Principle-centered movement that honored Rev. Moon as the first of many 'perfect' people. But I see something else being birthed because of Hak Ja Han's somewhat-diplomatic attempts to unifying this religion itself: a mishmash of shamanism, Christian conservativism, and shallow ecumenical thinking. Sadly, this version of Unificationism will undoubtedly fade away in its incoherence and will leave behind no legacy to brag about.
Unificationism's critique of Christianity and the True Family
Unificationism's critique of Christianity is that it didn't build the Kingdom of God on Earth in a real sense. There was no ideal world. This time the messiah was to fix that. Substantially ideal social units of increasing size would expand eventually to the world level. "Family, Clan, Tribe, Nation, and World." So the first task was to establish an ideal family. A family that was actually, substantially ideal. A true family. Think about that and compare to reality.
