Naruto and/or Star Wars for the fandom ask meme!
Oooooh, yeah…. There I goooo… ⊙‿ ⊙
First, let’s go with Naruto, just because of reasons….
the character i least understand: Madara, perhaps. He seemed like a bit like an aged emo to me. I never saw any further motivation in him beyond I want to fight against Hashirama. I never saw him showing any true interest in the rest of the Uchiha clan. Besides, he kind of brainwashed Obito, making him more vulnerable at Rin’s death moment.
interactions i enjoyed the most: Appart from between Sasuke and Sakura, those between Gaara and Naruto. Gaara goes through a lot of character developement and himself affirms that is thanks to his encounters with Naruto.
the character who scares me the most: Orochimaru, and I think it is quite obvious why….
the character who is mostly like me: Maybe Sakura. I don’t feel that I would have anything reall powerful to add if I was in a world like that, like Sakura at the begginig of the series. Others bashed her for it, but it helped me to identify with her and love her.
hottest looks character: Sasuke. Without a doubt, Sasuke, specially during his Akatsuki era, or against Deidara.
one thing i dislike about my fave character: Sakura, again. I can see she was kind of silly in the first arc (ahem, lika all 12 year girls, ahem), but I think one thing about her that I will never like is how the anime portrays her as the “rude bitch alwys hitting Naruto and behaving quite hypocritically”. Also, it also bored me how the manga usually put her lammenting about Sasuke. They are my OTP, and is obvious why Sakura thinks about him, but I was much more interested in her developement as military medical force, and as fighter.
one thing i like about my hated character: The character I hate the most might be Kabuto, not only he was an asshole with the kids, but also an obsesive man towards Orochimaru, and I hated his redemption. However, it’s actually his obsession with Orochimaru one of the things that made him kind of work as a villain for a moment, and that’s because I like the stories about obsession and how does it affect people.
a quote or scene that haunts me: Itachi ripping Sasuke’s eyeball out. Or the genjutsu in which he does so. I’m very sensible when it comes to eyes. Besides, there’s a moment in which Orochimaru takes a whole sword right from inside his throat. Ugh…
a death that left me indifferent: Kimimaro, and all the rest of the guys from Otogakure.
a character i wish died but didn’t: Kabuto and Orochimaru. Actually I didn’t even liked the becoming good after all. To me, Orochimaru was the evilest of the villains in th series. Nor Akatsuki, nor Madara, nor Kagura. Orochimaru.
my ship that never sailed: GaaHina. I loved that ship so much! I couldn’t ever find any exciting on NaruHina, but once saw a Gaahina fanart and totally falled for it. Much more interesting, cute and enjoyable than NaruHina. Hinata would have been a very good partner for Gaara, I believe. I knew from the begining it would never become canon or even have a moment, but, still, I loved them together so much…
Now, let’s go with Star Wars:
the character i least understand: By now, the guys from Star Wars Rebels. I just… don’t find anything that I truly like about them. Kanan is the only one that seems a bit more interested, giving that he’s the other guys mother bird (yes, him, and not Hera, because Kanan is the one constantly panicking). Oh, and R2-D2. I mean, he’s fine, but I prefer C-3PO and BB-8 like a bazillion of times before.
interactions i enjoyed the most: Jango and Boba Fett. The series and novels confirm my headcanon that Jango was very good with kids, and liked them a lot, and that that’s why he wanted a son. I love Jango acting as a father to Boba. Besides, that also goes for the relationships among all the Clones, specially when it comes to little children.
the character who scares me the most: Yoda. To me he’s not that different to Anakin or the ancient Sith Lords. Yoda is at the same time the consequence and the cause of the current Jedi Order. He acted strict to a code, blindly believing that it was all the Force’s will, and even trying to go against it was automatically wrong and would lead to the Dark Side. He was absolute in that way. Even though Jedi are meant to be driven by compassion, he never considered on avoiding the destiny for those who he though should die/suffer, because it was Force’s design.
the character who is mostly like me: C-3PO, Finn and Chewbacca, i think. If the CIS/Empire/First Order was after me, I would also want to get away as soon as possible and not to be involved with any trouble.
hottest looks character: Jabba the Hutt, look at those sexy purulent tallow rolls XD Ok, Darth Maul. For ever and ever, Darth Maul. My sexuality awakened in the exact moment he activated the second blade of his sword.
one thing i dislike about my fave character: Padmé? Padmé is perfect! Fine, no, I hated how after giving me a glorious Queen and a fabulous Senator, the third movie turned her into merely the woman impragnated with Anakin’s child(ren). Also, she was awfully portrayed in the CGI Clone Wars series: a whiny idealist disobeying her own principles.
one thing i like about my hated character: Of Sheev Palpatine I must admit he was a patient motherfucker. He ws able to plan and plan, with everything going according to his schemes for longer than 10 years. That requires a gift, and he had it, that bloody moron… Besides, I do admit he is inmensely talented and well-read in Force tricks. If it wasn’t becasue he was the one that, in a last stance, provoqued her death, he could have saved Padmé, as Anakin longed
a quote or scene that haunts me: Is not that it “haunts” me, but I will never forget how in the third film novelization that Doou insits to Sidious about turning Obi Wan to the Dark Side instead of Anain because he felt him as a some kind of grandson. That memory makes me stay awake in my bed at nights. Smiling. Widely. With matching open eyes.
a death that left me indifferent: Boba Fett. Yeah, I know, I love Jango, and their relationship, and all that stuff. But… I couldn’t care less about him falling in the sarlacc pitt. Honstly, I’ve never understood that fanatism around Boba…
a character i wish died but didn’t: Hux. I don’t hate him, but while watching TFA I was so sure he was going to die that it was kind of disapponting he didn’t. Since he was like a second Tarkin, and that guy died in his own DeathStar, … Well… Also I would have prefered if they had left Darth Maul dead as well: he wasn’t cut by the legs, but by the stomach, and then fell!
my ship that never sailed: None, actually… But I’m currently busy praying for more reylo scenes in Eps VIII and IX, soooo…..
And that was all! Thank you very much for asking me ^^ I hope it worthed it!
