Recalling the time I went to a group job interview at a popular stationery warehouse and was told that if a workplace accident occurred due to someone leaving something lying around, like a sheet of plastic on the floor, then both the person who left the sheet out and the person who gets injured will be fired. Because you're supposed to be all about safety at all times, and if you get injured you clearly weren't being vigilant enough. No one I tell this story to ever believes it because it is like... blatantly illegal. But I swear to fuck that is what they said. I even put up my hand and asked questions to really clarify it. Did not get the job. Did not regret it.
