Trackoftheday
The track of the day today is a hip-hop classic, Nas “Purple”. I feel like hiphop has abandoned its true meaning, it left its true meaning and yes I do love where hiphop and rap has came today and how much it has evolved, but the true meaning was lost in the journey from where it began to where it is now. Hiphop to me has always been something that is more deeper than the feeling of just being turned up, but also something deeper than just making you think, it’s something that makes you feel connected to the artist, your favourite song probably isn't something you heard at the club or at a house party or something but it’s probably something that made you go “that’s some real ass shit” while you were smoking on a blunt. The truth is that rap doesn’t aim at connecting the masses now but rather distracting the masses, which isn’t bad but its just not right, it's just not I remember hiphop being. Anyways this is what this song makes me feel, it’s just some real shit what more can I say? Like whether you like Outkast, Pac, Biggie, Big L, Rakim, or Jay-Z, matter of fact if you like Uzi you gotta admit that this song makes you go somewhere in memory lane. This joint was produced by Hill, inc. and it was on Nas’s compilation album “The Lost Tapes” and seriously check it out.

Trackoftheday
The track of the day for October 11, 2016 is Isaiah Rashad ft Kendrick Lamar & Zacari “Wat’s Wrong” produced by D.Sanders and Al B Smoov. This track is on the Chattonooga native Isaiah Rashad’s newest album “The Sun’s Tirade” and it is definitely one of the hardest songs on this album full of bangers (I will have a review of this album up soon). This is first track the two TDE members teamed up on and it is fucking impressive and I definitely need another collab. We have heard Zay before on songs with Jay Rock as well as Schoolboy Q but damn, nigga this shit right here, this shit right here this is a different story. If you heard Isaiah Rashad before you can definitely hear his growth and raw talent in this track. Kendrick fires shots at that fuck nigga trump and goes in, as always, Zaywop pours his heart out and keeps it one hunnid about his drug addiction, and Zacari just so damn melodic. This song is definitely a qualifier for the best songs of 2016. I urge you to check this song out and give everyone on this track a chance.
Favourite Lyric: “Might stay in the Trump tower for one week Spray paint all the walls and smoke weed Fuck them and fuck y'all and fuck me”

Unit 29: Photography Location Techniques
Aim and purpose The aim of this unit is to introduce learners to the equipment and techniques needed to photograph on location. Learners will develop their location photography skills when using equipment and techniques to create their own location photography. Unit introduction Location photography can be very rewarding and requires skilful use of technique when operating equipment on location and when producing the finished photographs. Successful location photography also requires skilful use of the techniques associated with visual language. In the workplace, location photography is created using either digital technology or traditional wet based methods, or a mixture of both. Decisions about the equipment and techniques to be used will depend on the requirements of the client and the creative intentions of the photographer. For example if paper prints are required, the decision to use digital or traditional wet-based media may be based on the creative technique the photographer wishes to use to fulfill their intentions. If location photography is to be integrated with moving images and form part of a multimedia presentation the final outcome will be appropriately sized digital files in a suitable format. This unit introduces the equipment and techniques associated with location photography. Learners will develop their location photography skills and extend their visual skills as they develop their ideas with reference to key practitioners and published examples of location photography. Learners will analyse and review their work from technical and aesthetic perspectives. Learning outcomes On completion of this unit a photographer should: 1 Be able to use equipment to produce location photography 2 Be able to use techniques to make location photography 3 Be able to develop ideas in response to location photography briefs 4 Be able to review own location photography What you need to do Click here for criteria (need to add link when ready)
Unit 29 - Mino
Task 4
1980’s: ABBA -Super Trouper (Directed by Sebastian Reed)
Style:
Narrative
There are some narratives in this music video, for example when one of the singers from the ABBA is singing, performing and in some other parts of the music video.
Camerawork
For most of the music video camerwork is still, in some scenes start zoomed in and end zoomed out. The camera moves locked on to one or some times two people, zoomed out and very slowly zooming in and panning around.
Editing
Some video transition masons are flashes of light that fade into the next scene, but some times when it go's to the next scene there is no transition and some just fade a cross into the next scene in the music video.
1990’s: Faith Hill, Faith -This Kiss Music Video (Directed by)
Style:
Narrative
All most all of the music video is mostly narrative because the artist singer is singing in all most all of the music video scenes.
Camerawork
The camera in this music video is fixed (it does nont pan around) and how ever the shots in each of the scenes change for example long shot, close up, mid shot and other shots
Editing
The scenes don't fade at all they just cut from scene to scene and some times cuts on the beat, but not very often
Digital Effects
This music video is completely green screened (or could be blue screened background, im not a 70% sure), for example in one part of the music video a flower opens and a boy and a girl are hugging.
2000’s: The Shins -The Rifle’s Spiral (Stop Motion Animation music video, Directed: Jamie Caliri)
Style:
Camerawork
The camera is fixed for most of the music video, but does more for example it pans up and down. Fades though to the next scene in some parts, zooms and out.
Editing
The fades are fast and over in a flash and the cuts are not like montage (cut, cut, cut) because of the scenes are longer than an montage music video
Digital Effects
There is some CGI in this music video, for example when the rabbit is sitting on the table, the magic magicians put there finger on the table and around the rabbit some black smoke go's around the rabbit. Flashes, the figures blink and flashing lghts.
