Internet provider guy: “No worries! We’ll send our technician. He can switch the plug for you.”
Me: “Uh, no, just... just send me that adapter, alright? I’m sure that’s a lot faster and also I’m working and-”
Internet provider guy: “The technician will call you to verify your appointment!”
Me: “Hey, listen, really, I don’t think that will work. There’s literally no cable for him to attach the plug to? There are reasons why we don’t have the newest version yet. Please, just send the adapter!”
Internet provider guy: “...will be running in no time, you’ll see! Have a nice day!”
Me: “Listen-!”

Only in Germany is sending a real human technician apparently easier than putting a piece of plastic in an envelope and give it into the mail... >.>
