Sometimes on a run you just have to pause for a while and admire the view. . . Towards the end of this run near the up-and-coming climbing site of Citdibi, Antalya I had to stop and watch the sun go down@and the sky change. Somehow I didn’t end up posting any pictures from the @cappadociaultratrail. . I guess because I wasn’t really psyched the DNF at 63km, and it took a little while to get over that. . . At some point along the way my expectations changed from finished to get a @wser lottery ticket to trying to be competitive, and when I wasn’t satisfied with how things were unfolding, it just made more sense to save it for another day. . . Long races are a different challenge, being ok with going slowly is something I need to be better at if I want to push farther than 80km. . . Still it was a beautiful day and I had the good fortune to meet some wonderful people! . .
