Visit Bangkok's Most Famous City Park: beautiful, fun and easy to reach
Bangkok, Thailand, is one of the largest cities in the world with more than 13 million people. Bangkok has some of the most beautiful city parks in the world and is famous for five of them. Lumpini Park is Bangkok's most famous parks of Sanam Luang, followed Chatuchak Park, Rama IX Park and Queen Sirikit Park. Each Park Bangkok is famous and popular for different reasons and different activities. Visit these five parks Bangkok next time you come to Thailand. You will not disappointed.Lumphini Park is one of the world's largest urban parks. It is on the north side of Rama IV Road in Bangkok, but it is easy, since there are two subway (MRT) stations, which will be disclosed in it. Lumpini Park is huge. It is open every day of the week and is famous for its lake, where you can rent pedal boats. It has also Bangkok's first public library in it, and the place where the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra plays its annual concerts in the park series. Lumpini is a wonderful place to see Muay Thai fighters and see Sepak Takraw Players Practice (Sepak Takraw is a national sport in Thailand - like volleyball, but players may only their feet, knees, chest and head to hit the ball) . There is also a large area where Thai bodybuilder working outdoors, complete with weight machines. Lumpini Park is a popular area for families to hang out and picnic, a great place for jogging (especially in the early morning hours before the heat of Bangkok will kill you), watching or just to stroll and people. I love to enjoy walking around Lumphini to buy a ice cream cone in one of the many small items, and photographs of people living Bangkok. Suan Lum Night Bazaar is also right next to Lumpini Park, and is a great place to head for a cold beer if you have had a hot day in the sun at the Lumpini Park Park.Rama IX, otherwise known as Suan Luang, was in honor of His Majesty the King of Thailand for his birthday 6oth. Rama IX Park is a fantastic park, with beautiful botanical gardens, which seem to be for miles distance, huge expensive Thai colorful flower beds, a reservoir and a large lake. You can rent paddle boats on the lake, walk in the park enjoying the flowers, or visit some of the exhibits which are to His Majesty the King's life dedicated. Rama IX Park is very popular among Thais, especially on the weekends because it away from the hustle and bustle of busy Bangkok life. Do not forget the Rommaniya garden where you can visit all of Thailand's natural heritage can be seen in miniature. Rama IX Park is located in eastern Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 103rd Best way to get there is to take the Sky Train to the On Nut station, then take a taxi from there.Chatuchak Park is another beautiful park in central Bangkok. It is located right next to the Mo Chit station sky, and next to the Chatuchak subway station. There is a large lawn park, with many areas for sitting. If you do not get there and brought blankets, mats can be rented from vendors who walk around the park, so that you can sit comfortably. Chatuchak Park has a small boating lake (see photo), and a children's playground, a walking area, and several food stalls set up for snacks or lunch. It is also adjacent to the museum for children, and Chatuchak Weekend Market, so on weekends the park is very busy.Sanam Luang is the large park next to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keo. It's actually more like a large area as a park, but it is popular with Thais kite flying season, when you see a lot of kites flown by children and adults alike. There will also be booths set many dragons around the park, you can buy one and join in the fun. Sanam Luang is also party to the Royal Ploughing Ceremony celebrated every year on the coming crop, and the place where, when a royal person dies, they will be cremated at Sanam Luang. Sanam Luang is in a wonderful location as it is easy to get to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keo from there, two of the most famous places in Bangkok. It is also right next to Thammasat University, and a host of other schools, national galleries and shops. The best way is there is by taxi from the National Stadium Sky Train station.Queen Sirikit park section of Chatuchak Park and is an absolutely outstanding park, full of Thai wild flowers. It has a Lotus and Lily Pond, a pond and many rare species of plants and flowers. It even has what they call a cheap garden trees, which I think is very cool. It is set in the shape of Thailand, and represent a tree of 76 Thai provinces in the garden. The trails are also designed so that they are the same way that major roads will be laid in Thailand set. There is also a garden for the blind, where all characters are the plants in Braille and in which electronic speakers talk about the individual botanical show when you walk by (this information is only in Thai though). Queen Sirikit park is also next to the Children's Discovery Museum, part of the park used with its exhibits help. Queen Sirikit Park is easily accessible from the Mo Chit station or from heaven to reach Chatuchak subway station. It is usually less crowded than Chatuchak Park, especially during the week, but you will see how people play Sepak Takraw, jogging, hiking or picnicking with their families. As see you many opportunities to Bangkok, botanical life discover national sports has, jogging, picnicking, lifting weights, fly kites and any number of other things in his city parks. Visit you one of those big parks Bangkok, and I guarantee you a good time.
