I always wonder if Walter trained Logan, too... or maybe Sparrow was still around back then? Is the Hero just Wally's favorite? lol

(lol I was just talking abt this) Basically I think Walter was a fun family friend to Logan, so he very likely helped train him but Logan probably directly trained under Sparrow, officially.

3: What are some of your favorite tropes?

In no particular order:

Strangers to enemies acquantainces who don’t get along to friends to lovers

Ungodly ammounts of unresolved sexual/romantic tension

“Platonic” pda where one or two (or more) parties actually feels like they want to be more than friends with the other(s) oh bOY

Their first time together being like a learning experience for both (of course) but specially to one of them (be it, they are a virgin, they haven’t ever done it with someone from their same sex, etc)

That one paragraph where that one character realises they’re totes in love

characters in a heated argument anD SUDDENLY one yells “BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!” and there’s this. Silence. And they just wanna die for a few seconds and omg whatever happens next is really up to the author as long as they ultimately get together 

SECRET RELATIONSHIPS and the possible angst/hurt-comfort/sometimes funny situations? that ensue (by secret I mean, they HAVE to keep it secret bc of family, friends, homophobia, not exactly ok for coworkers to date, come from two different sides of a war or something, etc).

In general, hurt/comfort scenarios: one is crying (possibly the other made them cry) and the other is apologising with their voice cracking too because they don’t really like to see them like that???

Imperfect or unconventional love confessions

ALSO “can’t spit it out” almost-confessions wow

OH OH and that moment when one of them just starts talking passionately about some nerd stuff or something they really like and the other listens with the most idiotic grin on their face because they’re so in love. with their dork. wowie.

Aaaaand family tropes! Parenting (whether it’s planning it, one character confessing they think the other would make a good parent... oh, and don’t even get me started on “Help you wanted me to meet your parents and I’m screaming inside for no particular reason” while that person’s parents are v ery embarrasing for their child actually)

15: What makes a fic funny?

Anthitetic characters, situations, dialogues, etc! Lemme explain...

A certain pair of characters (even if they’re secondary) that are apparently polar opposites but still manage to stick together. The antics that ensue. Scenarios where some character is expected to do something or has to endure a situation that contradicts their personality, ie, “let’s have the stuck-up character deal with an army of puppies or babies omg” or “bet this goofy and somewhat brute character can’t pull off a whole evening of having to wear formal clothing in an elegant restaurant or something”.

Also, comedic dialogues need to be witty, fast paced at times, and I admire those who can also make them feel natural and coherent AND in character. 

Oh, and, embarrasing situations are fun sometimes, but with moderation. I’ve read a lot. Many of them may end up too unrealistic and make the reader cover their face in second-hand embarrasment, so please.
