Unknown Schjerfbeck discovered
A previously unknown painting by Finnish painter Helene Schjerfbeck was recently discovered in Helsinki. It was uncovered from behind a landscape painting and was most likely done in 1880s. The experts first thought it to be an unfinished work of lesser value but the painting turned out to be even signed by the artist.
