Review of William S. Bonnie's "Studies"
In "Studies," a new collection of poetry by William S. Bonnie, we are taken to the silent moments of a long distance relationship. Bonnie is a troubadour of the holy afterthought. Reading it is like wading quietly near the lip of an ocean, and on what appears to be a hundred poems about the same topic, we are reminded of the excessive amount of time we allow ourselves to intimately wander. In comparison to Bonnie's previous work, his latest effort has made a truce with brevity.
