Finished Unland yesterday and I have some very subjective thoughts about it:

As I've already said - not a fan of D&D (especially considering it was supposedly episode 302 so my brain was in the constant mode "am I supposed to know that?" which I - as a recovering fanboy perfectionist/complitionist - hate), but I did enjoy references to it later in the main scenario and how it helped flesh out the characters including the absent (or mostly absent) ones. The main moral of this point is - alcohol and sleep deprivation are bad for you (because recording the D&D segment was a past-one-a.m. whiskey fueled idea).

And I don't really enjoy main characters being children - there are obviously exceptions to that but I'm afraid this playthrough wasn't one of them.

(The next part should be taken with a grain of salt because I think I might have missed some details at the very end.)

I feel like this is a problem with the scenario itself rather than with the playthrough, but I think it just abandoned some themes without giving them any colclsions:

The whole "fuck off pedos" thing was very heavily pedalled in the first two episodes and then pretty much fully forgotten, except for the very end when the pictures were developed.

And then the "we are inside of a living creature", hashtag alivehouse, if you will, was established and then there was pretty much nothing about it. Though maybe if they had paid enough attention to it, they would have lost all their sanity and wouldn't have been able to finish the scenario...

Anyway, not every scenario can be a winner and it had its fun bits too.

Was sorting through older sketchbooks and came across this first page from one of 2018′s books. I didn’t remember drawing this and had a good chuckle :D Man, that’s the only thing I miss about pre-covid times - all the sketching on the commuter trains.
