27 Days Later..
Yes I should’ve posted this on your birthdate aka March 4,2014 but because of my frenzied sched of meetings, revisions, and deadlines, this lil bday message of mine is just 27 days late :))
So where should I start? >:)
This is a story of a girl with no dragon tattoo.
I met her back in my early days as a college freshman. To be honest, I didn’t like her at first. But she had that spirit…woah, woah ,woah, sounds like Piolo Pascual from a movie but yep, I didn’t find any good vibes at her when I saw Twinny; that feeling that you know you’ll never get into her or she’ll never get into you. I had that same feeling with my highschool classmate, Marieliz who sat beside me at the first day of classes at Pasig Science. She’s my bestfriend till today. First impressions last until you get a second look.
Fast forward today. Did I ever regret that historical day I befriended her? Yes, because I CREATED A PSYCHO.
Kidding aside I’m blessed by God to meet someone twice as weird as I am with three parts crazy and the rest filled with pure awesomeness. We have our shortcomings along the way and heck I’m thankful we painted the yellow brick road with tears, glitters and overlaughs (if there’s such a word).
We are a combination of paradoxes, full of contrasts and similarities. It’s like being in the same boat; she would row with a paintbrush on her tongue while I paddle with a spoon and a soul siren voice. While I capture moments in a zoom, she’d take the story in a panorama.
This is just a glimpse of the person who helped me see the world in 5D. I have more words to say and songs to compose about her but not another penny to extend my time in the computer shop so A HAPPY SECOND DECADE TO MS. ELAINE VIDAL.
Again let’s grow up while growing old girl. Let’s outweird each other in the years to come. This year is ours and proclaim God’s love in our lives.
