As to your questions:

Goldie's a bit of a horse girl, but unfortunately I'm not so I don't really know how to describe the behaviors of the horse or his interactions with her. She remains nameless for now, but I do intend to change this. Since Nan Elmoth is mostly too dense for horses, when Maeglin needs to get somewhere with a bunch of Stuff he has a riding elk ^-^ ... who will also need a name eventually. (I did get distracted looking up whether elk are actually good at navigating forests and the answer I came up with is "some of them maybe." They're domesticated for the purpose ok)

Maeglin is going to be as campy as I can get him, and I really do hope you kick your heels real fast in delight.
