i wont be updating the series until all 3 volumes have been released. even then, it will still take me a few weeks to draft the chapters and write. therefore, there will be no update until late january at the earliest.

ive watched stranger things for almost a decade now. ive grown up with the characters and never imagined that a silly fic idea i had would become such an incredible gift in my life. while its bittersweet to see my favorite childhood show come to an end, i couldnt be more grateful for what its given me—im forever indebted to everyone who has read come home. all the messages and support ive received will stay with me forever. to create a character like bug, to see her so loved, to see pieces of her resonate with others, is a gift i cannot put into words. while i cannot thank you guys enough, i can create an ending to come home that i hope you guys will love just as much as i do.

i wasn’t sure if anybody’s asked this yet but i really love your ‘come home’ series and was wondering if you were going to stick with the original s5 plot or change the ending as a lot of people were disappointed with it. Whatever you do, I know ill be extremely happy with your writing is honestly so beautiful and you’ve done an amazing job rewriting the seasons for bug so far <3

i feel like the previous ask was talking about bug and i mean i understand why. like i understand both of their sides like you explained. and plus yeah bug would feel a way, especially in the beginning because it was always her and jonathan and there was clearly something more at first so when everything started with nancy, yeah she started to feel a way about it, as one would.

i agree ! i loved writing bug and nancy and their jealousy arcs because both girls were right in their own ways and honestly shouldve just kissed each other instead

I’m so glad you said when “begged” came out that it reminded you of Bug and Jonathan cause I FELT THE SAME WAY IMMEDIATELY. Like ugh, they found their people and they’re happy, but there’s always gonna be that “what if” lurking between them for the rest of their lives, regardless of their current feelings towards each other/relationship in their lives 😭

bug and jonathan being each others biggest “what if”s really does haunt me and im the one who wrote their dynamic lol. begged really really hurts because i see it as such a bug s2 song :(
