At this point, she had transitioned from ballet to acting in her first juicy role as Dobie Gillis's always desired but never quite obtainable quasi-girlfriend, Aphrodite Millican. Aphrodite was a ballet dancer, just like Yvonne. She was also way out of Dobie's league, and she knew it. Allowing him to think he had a chance amused Aphrodite.
