Alright so I’ll start by saying yesterday I woke up to a text by the lovely Shelly uriequeen saying “LOOK AT urie‘s BLOG” and I’m half awake so I’m just like uh alright sure?
So I go onto her blog and just was wowed by the fact they were giving out free tickets as I didn’t have a ticket at all but wanted to go so badly. I nearly flipped when they agreed to give me one of them, it mad my day go by so slow at work and had to stay over making me anxious on my drive down to Mountain View (a bit more than an hour with a stop to the gas station).
So I’m almost there and I call Emily and was nervous on the phone like they’re blog is one of my favorites and being in a mutual with them ALWAYS gets me. But so I call them again when getting to the gate and my god they are so sweet, I felt like I was star striken tbh. Then they brought me over where Megan djsarahurie and Viviana unofficialryden were and I was more than wowed by their presences. Though I knew both Rose illbeholdinontoyou and her friend Morgan were both waiting for me at the festival stage I just I didn’t want to leave Emily and oh my god I’m so very lucky I hadn’t. I met the god damn band that changed/ruined my entire life because of them just giving me that ticket. I freaked out only once I was one the next people to go while in line I was the chill one and kept giving both Meagan and Emily hugs to help them calm them down which may have kept me calm down as well.
When it’s actually my turn to meet the boys I couldn’t I felt like numb so Megan goes instead of me, I remember to record them but forgetting I’m going my phone is in my hand and I’ll at lost at words. Zack goes “gotta be ready” or something and I just mumble sorry as I put my phone in my pocket and freak out as I walk up to them. They’re all good hand shakers by the way and holy fuck I just didn’t even know what to do for a pose so Brendon puts his arm around me (heaven) which was pretty much the greatest thing. When we all had gotten our pictures with the boys, we all were in just much shock at all what happened just a few moments ago.
After we semi-calm down we go to the lawn area to find somewhere to mellow out until Panic came on. During that time we mostly relaxed and talked until Viviana went to see someone else. For a good portion of when it was the three of us we kept saying “You want to brawl, Weekes?” Eventually Shelly found her way to me and we talked for awhile and soon Rose came along too. It was nice to definitely see her again before we go to Fall Out Boy together.
Fast forward to when Panic! is about to go on, we were lucky enough to be as close as we could given the seats that we had. I had Viviana on one side of me with Emily and Megan on the other, Viviana and I kept making small jokes inbetween songs plus during songs. It was amazing and the best thing I could have asked for. To enjoy a concert with some of my favorite bloggers and some friends I’ve made from previous concerts.
