So, here I am, huddled in my home again, somewhat nervous to actually poke my head outside...I'm afraid somepony might have noticed me when I tried out this...This patch...This...Thing. I had to be a bit sneaky, though, I failed to do that, and ended up doing it rather...clumsily. Regardless, that made it all the more convincing.
I stumbled past these two stallions talking, and slapped it into his back as I fell over, pretending I had tripped on a rock. I apologized, and they...Actually helped me up. It almost makes me feel guilty to attempt this on a pony willing to help a stranger, but...Sometimes, things must be attempted...After I applied the patch, I walked out of their view, but made sure I could peek on them myself.
I pulled out my marionette cross and started using it, no strings attached, nor a puppet to manipulate...I heard one of them start to speak a bit frantically, and quickly took a peek around the corner...It was...Amazing...Watching a full grown stallion dance and twitch like a puppet on strings. How satisfying it was to be the first pony to use another living creature as a puppet of my very own...But the stallion I was controlling wouldn't speak, or make noise, though his eyes did frantically dart about, as if he was confused, or worried. He was clearly conscious of what was happening, though he couldn't speak, or control it...I had to stop playing after a few minutes before the other got worried enough to call for help...So, I put away my marionette cross and let the stallion fall to the ground, quickly making my way over to check on him, as if I had witnessed the whole thing.
"Are you alright?" I worriedly asked this stallion I didn't know, helping him to his hooves as I subtly pulled the patch off
"What happened? You looked like you collapsed."
He responded with only a worried look toward me, as if my very face were that of evil incarnate. It worried me that he would stare at me in such a way, and I looked to his friend. The friend looked as confused as a stallion could, not understanding anything. He gave a shrug and I helped him get a hold on his friend so he could take him elsewhere
"Thanks, stranger. Not sure what happened, but, you saw that too, right?"
I nodded and looks around "Really weird, huh...Maybe he need some medical attention of some kind?"
The stallion shrugged "I don't know, I'll get him to the hospital...Thank you again though.
And I sat there, watching the stallion carry his friend blindly to the hospital...Only to watch my victim turn his head and stare at me the whole way, until I could no longer see them...It was...Eerie. Worrying...Maybe I should avoid that area for a while, so I don't run into him again...
