Behind her their companions, which included Tris' brother and a couple other survivors, were looking pretty exhausted with the way their bodies nearly sank into the icy logs they were resting on. Tobias couldn't blame them, but it didn't help being soft either. It would only make things harder in the end. "We need to start moving again, there should be a town coming up soon. How are you feet?"

     There’s barely a smile  that reaches his lips at her attempt to ease him. He wishes he could see it the way that she does, but it’s difficult to rid himself of the feeling that he’s a fish out of water. Instead of accepting her statement entirely, he just says,  “Wherever you are, I’ll feel like I belong.”  A hand lightly caresses her cheek to show his appreciation of her.

     There’s always meaning  to their intimacy, nothing is done or said without reason. Usually. Four savours her touch, so gentle and loving.
