me reading unconsolable and getting to squid’s parts:

i started this fic and i was like “why this so familiar” and realized i read it when i was a tiny baby. i wouldn’t have picked up on it without the “disney” nickname squid gave mickey and also some of the flashback chapters with mickey… not the good ones sadly, i think they stuck with me bcs i relate to her in that aspect. anyway, i’m excited to continue reading this edited version of unconsolable, i’m so glad i came across it again :0

the BEST. LESBIAN BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ. The emotional rollercoaster that book took me on was crazy but it was absolutely chefs kiss. it had a semi slow start but the amount of powerful messages laid in those sentences were like a breath of fresh air.

don’t let the title fool you yes Evelyn Hugo was a whore, slut, and every other derogatory term used towards woman but she was PROUD. 😫🫶🏾

i needa read the full fic n i will but i was reading this piece and the way you wrote all of these ocs is so compelling. i love mouse, i like her sense of morality n how she’s still standing up for what she believes in and also ik viper is meant to be the antagonist in this situation but i also love her…. i love a good mean girl — idk if she was just written for this oneshot but i’m gonna be thinking about them for the rest of the day now. to write something and have people come out of it only thinking about how good your ocs are is so cool, like yes i’m interested in holes too but THIS? this is something else. their dialogue, the dynamic is amazingly written. giving my girls kisses!! mwah mwah!!!! 🤍🌷🫶🏾

Just so you know I've been holding onto this ask because it and you were so sweet and I liked re-reading it whenever I felt down about my writing.

I came up with the girls on the spot and the fact that their brief debut had that much of an impact on someone means a lot! I’m glad you enjoyed Viper, I legit just wanted to make a mean girl who had no problems being a mean girl and doing what she wanted, I didn’t expect people to like her so much but I’m glad she’s so liked.

Viper and the rest of the girls were only written for this ficlet/snippet/idea but I liked them so much I am very seriously considering writing out a full fic for the AU. I will, for sure, at least write a direct follow-up to that ficlet because Squid’s reaction to all of it needs to see the light of day.

Reading this again has really helped with my crap motivation/energy I’ve been struggling with lately. Now I have no excuse to keep procrastinating. Thanks again so much!
