Etiquette Question
Oops, let's try this again, only this time enabling answers... I finally made an Ao3 for my not-anonymous self. Should I transfer over my old fics from FF.net, which I swear are pretty good and only mildly embarassing? Or would that be pointless and in bad taste?
Oh hey I'm 31 now.
Am I weird if I have a nagging itch to write psychological darkfic about uh Disney's Princess and the Frog?
Supernatural musings
So the season finale's episode title is "Sacrifice," and the common speculation appears to be that Castiel will give up his Grace. It would certainly make sense from a writer's standpoint, seeing as he's confirmed as a regular for season 9 and having someone with angelic powers around makes resolving conflicts entirely too easy. But. I sincerely doubt it's going to be the over-the-top, syrupy "I'm doing this for you Dean because I wuv you!" sort of gesture that I've seen multiple posts gushing about. (At least I sure hope it's not.) Rather, I'm guessing that Cas will lose his powers trying to save Sam. The Trials are clearly changing him in a way he shouldn't live through, a way Cas said was beyond his ability to heal. What if he gives Sam his Grace in order to keep him alive? Or what if a great sacrifice is required to seal the Gates of Hell, and Sam was intending to give up his life for it? Dean did pray to Cas to keep a lookout for his brother, after all. I just think an ending that knits all three of them together would be so much more fulfilling. Plus, it leaves us with a whole new season to watch Sam and Cas bond, and Dean squirm under an emotional cup that runneth over...
Stealth-suck longfics are the bane of my existence.
My progeny enjoys the Disney Fairy movies. Now I have all these weird new ships. Like black one-sided Vidia/Tinker Bell, and red or pale Bobble/Clank. I am deeply saddened that Terence has red feelings for Tink, I thought their pale relationship was admirable. Grown-up problems.
mvilashock replied to your post: Why is it so hard to find good Supernatural fic? ...
if you find any can you rec it in a post? I’m looking too :/ many thanks!
I've been thinking of hunting through the stuff I've read so I can start making a list. I'll post it or something when I finish.

I don't think I've read the first two yet? But I adored Have Love Will Travel!

have you tried googling for fic recs or searching by number of kudos on Ao3?
I've been working my way through various rec lists. I've tried sorting AO3 by kudos, but older fics have such an advantage that it's not particularly helpful.
