Blair was doing their best not to immediately shut down due to their high levels of stress as them and the child they had taken in (Dante) were carefully making their way through the empty, snow-covered streets of Detroit. From their obsessive checking of several news stations, the two’s last hope of safety, Jericho, had been destroyed the other night and the android revolution was just beginning. Androids were being either shot on sight or taken in to be melted down.
Blair couldn’t risk being caught. The military would destroy them for sure and then Dante would be left all alone, or worse, being mistaken for an android child. They couldn’t allow that to happen. They had to find a safe place to stay and lay low for a bit until they could guaranty safety.
As they walked down the street, they would occasionally duck into alleyways or buildings to avoid military personnel. Blair thought they had been doing a good job until they almost ran into another being as they turned down another street.
Disguised as a deviant, the RK800 knew of his counterpart working with the DPD, however Cyberlife knew that it would be foolish to rely on only one single unit to sniff out the source of deviancy. Connor unit sixty had been sent out shortly after the PL600 hostage situation, combing the streets instructed to act as a defective android might, hiding his LED and dressing as a human and to try and find any places deviants might be congregating. His boots had been scrounged from a second hand store, as was his shirt, hat and jeans, he’d been able to beg and steal enough change to purchase a new jacket once the nights had turned cold. He’d been sent regular updates via Amanda about the status of the other Connor’s mission, it wouldn’t do to be caught by the police after all, and he knew there was going to be an attack against the leader of the deviants.
Something had gone wrong, the deviants had blown up their own safe haven to evade the FBI raid, and now the streets were chaos. Evading human law enforcement, he nearly ran into two people. No, a person and a deviant, his scan confirmed that the adult was one of the popular WR400’s, the child a human. Eyes widening, his hands went up in front of himself, showing he didn’t mean harm “Don’t hurt me!” gaze darting across the other android’s face, and around their surroundings he continued, voice low “Are you like me?” his right hand drifted up to his temple, where his hat hid his LED. His stance had shifted, ready to run if he’d misjudged the situation, his mission had been going so well, he couldn’t risk it now.
