General headcanons about the Magic Knights.
The salaries of the Magic Knights depend on their rank. Of course, with an increase in rank, the sum of the Magic Knight's wage also increases. However, the vice-captain's salary is higher than that of other Senior Magic Knights.
Transfer from the one order to another is possible, but arranging this is problematic. Firstly, there may be a problem with the resolution of both captains of the orders (since one of them or both may not to agree with it). Secondly, among the Magic Knights, this is considered a little shameful (and it doesn't matter which order you went to: more prestigious or less). Thirdly, suddenly a d a m n stack of papers.
I already mentioned it in another post, but I repeat. The curfew is from 10 pm to 5 am.
The days off. It can be allocated for several reasons: 1) If you were seriously (or moderately seriously) injured, and you need a recovery period (with a really serious injury — in the infirmary of the capital, and with a moderate injury — at the headquarters of the order); in case of minor injury, the day off is not allocated; 2) If you have worked over the required measure of work; 3) If you worked the day on your day off (especially if the captain personally asked (in not forced manner) to go to work on that day); 4) Wedding or funeral. In spite of everything, the day off as a reward for excellent work is not allocated, since there are gold stars in the Clover Kingdom for this.
The captains of the orders of their own free will (I mean without any of the above reasons) can give the Magic Knight the day off, but they do it rarely.
By the way, the required measure of work. Everything works in proportion. A lot of small tasks, few large tasks or a little of both, and it's the norm. Of course, there are breaks with different time intervals between it for relaxation. But if you run on large missions without a rest for several days, then, congratulations, here is your day off.
You can be removed from the post of the Magic Knight for several reasons: 1) Violation of both the rules of the orders of the Magic Knights and the laws of the Clover Kingdom (for example: treason/desertion, disclosure of the order's secret data and etc); 2) If you're officially considered dead or missing; 3) If you have applied for dismissal by yourself; 4) If you have ceased to be capable enough to serve.
By the way, voluntary dismissal. Usually the captains accept such applications reluctantly, but if the reason is serious enough (usually these are personal reasons), most of them (except Yami, Jack and, possibly, Rill, yeah) will agree with it without any questions. Also after the dismissal, you will have to give away the robe of the order and take an oath of non-disclosure. Standardly.
Sukehiro will refuse, kick your ass and make you rot, doing the rough work, because you can for good and all leave the Black Bull only with your feet forward ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ*
In the accident of the death of the Magic Knight, his/her legal representatives (custodians/parents) shall be paid (only once!) monetary compensation in the amount of the salary of the Intermediate Magic Knight (regardless of his/her own rank). It was introduced by Julius Novachrono, the 28th Wizard King.
