Continuing my studies.. this time a little bit in my comfort zone in terms of subject. I love u-boats, I’ve collected books and postcards of them since I was in college. My favourite captain is Wolfgang Lüth of the U-43. I learned a lot about handling a team from unterseeboot patrols, I know that’s the dumbest thing ever but that’s my life. ‘til this day I know how to boost morale and keep a team going from reading about these people and events. Submarine warfare shaped 40% of my morals. I just admire camaraderie in times of war. 

This study is about the U-118 though. The U-118 was from WWI, a Type XB mine-laying submarine commandeered by Werner Czygan. It only had two torpedo tubes. It was sunk on June 12, 1943 ;_;
