Summary: A summer sleepover <3
Laughter filled the living room as the group watched Scary Movie 2. They were having a movie marathon for their monthly sleepover. It was going to just be the girls but the guys butted in and said they wanted to join. The girls warned them that they better get ready for all the girly activities that were ahead.
“Come on Brenda is the funniest character.” Matt argued with Chris. Chris rolled his eyes shaking his head.
“No, it’s definitely Cindy.” Chris argued back making the girls groan.
“Um it’s actually Ray and Shorty.” You interjected.
The night was long and full of activities. The funniest being you guys playing beer pong and uno. Beer pong made Jessica damn near collapse from how much she lost. She was winning but then she went against Josh which was a given she couldn’t keep up with him. The girls did facials on each other while waiting for it to dry they played uno.
This left the girls crying laughing with stiff faces because Mike couldn’t hear either of them say uno. The girls were falling over each other. Chris couldn’t stop laughing at how stiff their faces were from the mask. It looked like it hurt to say anything. Mike ended up giving up due to not being able to understand them.
The night went well and ended on them watching horror movies which left Ashley nearly embedded in Chris’ ribs from the gore. You nudged Beth before sneaking away. You grabbed an old Halloween mask from Josh’s room sliding it on. You crawl up behind the couch your hand gripping the top of it. Ashley slowly turns around seeing your hand and trailing up until she sees the distorted face making her scream at the top of her lungs. She falls off the couch scooting away making Chris jump from dozing off.
You fall to the floor holding your stomach as you laugh. Beth could barely contain her own laughter as she stared at Ashley cowering in the corner before turning her face up in irritation. Hannah placed a hand over her chest taking deep breaths to slow her fast beating heart.
“I’m gonna pee!” Jessica laughs on her hands and knees. Emily clutches her stomach almost falling off the couch.
“Classic.” Beth laughs standing up to help Ashley.
“You guys are jerks.” Ashley pouts going to sit next to a drowsy Chris again.
“It’s just a little prank, Ash.” Josh stifles a laugh covering his mouth. Sam just laughs shaking her head.
This is what you loved about being friends with them. This was what you loved most about being around them. It was never a dull moment. Josh ceased his laughing before suggesting you all play truth or dare.
“I’m down.” Mike agrees looking at everyone else who agrees some reluctantly.
They did a few rounds and even added a twist. Whoever didn’t do the last dare had to do an even worse dare after. It made your skin crawl at some of the things that had to be done. Chris refused 2 dares from Josh and had to chug hot sauce…twice. It made your throat burn just thinking about it.
“Alright Sam, truth or dare?” Emily asks biting her lip. Sam sighs knowing she’s in for it.
“Dare.” She says confidently making the group resound with ooo’s.
“I dare you to let us mix 5 different flavors together and you have to drink it. No gagging.” Beth winces at the dare. She would rather die than trust any of you to do this.
“Fine.” Sam sighs in defeat. The group whispers amongst themselves coming up with a concoction before 2 of them breaking off into the kitchen. When they come back from rattling in the kitchen, they have a cup filled with a dark green substance.
“Ew what the hell is that?” Sam exclaims her face filled with disgust.
“Drink it and find out.” You answered mischievously handing it to her. The cup was filled to the brim and the smell was atrocious. She nearly gagged but held herself back in order to win.
She took a deep breath before chugging it. You nearly gagged for her. Matt and Mike watched in amazement as Jessica used her shirt to cover her mouth letting her eyes do all the talking. When Sam was done she slammed down the cup and raised her arms in the air. She sighed making her belch.
Josh and Chris held her wrists up as they whooped and cheered. You sigh in relief thinking the concoction would be too hard on her stomach. You and Beth high five before turning to Sam who’s smiling.
“What was in it?” She curiously asked. You and Beth eye each other before answering. “Kale, orange juice, a dash of milk, lime and lastly blended strawberries.” Beth answers as you nod as if you were her assistant.
Sam feels relief in the fact it wasn’t too gross “at least you went easy on me.” She responds making you both smile. It was now getting later as everyone spread out to do their own thing. You, Hannah, Beth, Sam and Ashley played a would you rather card game. Mike, Chris, Josh and Matt were on the balcony having boys chat and a beer. Jessica and Emily were giving each other mani pedis. The night was calm as everyone settled into their own things.
This was indeed a night for the books.
