Okay, I was watching Let's Play from Until Down Remastered and we were earlier discussing with my friend, that it would be the game Hide and Kaneki would play together, so I was watching it, thinking what choices would Kaneki make xd

I see him trying every possible options to save Hannah and Beth, even playing the whole game from the start, if necesarry and still being disconsolate about it, when he's with psychiatrist and have to choose the emotion about the picutre he sees xd

Hide: What are you feeling, Kaneki, happiness or anxiety?

Kaneki: Sadness, because I wasn't able to save Hannah and Beth.

It's the only time he do that propably, because come on, let's not exaggerate

I see him also feeling a little uncomfortable during session, because why is it so accurate? Xd At least the first one.

"I know it's just a pixel guy, but he's scary, I don't think I like him..."

(Hide is laughing at the background, trying to not choke up with his popcorn)

I think he would choose "happiness" and he's reasoning was like

"Well, while the scarecrow can look rather disturbing, I think he's a guardian here. He have to look scary to scare away all of the potential threats that lurk for this house in the distance, and this make its inhabitants feel save. That's what I'm thinking."

"Maybe because it reminds me of you, Hide. And of me. I'm a monster, who tries to protect my loved ones."

And he would NOT shoot the bird.

And not tell Matt to look into the telescope, I think. He likes to protect people a little too much xd Hide is the same, so there wouldn't be a discussion even, just silent agreement
