The Doctor had heard about a possible alien at an older park, somewhere on the coast of the U.S. and had decided to check it out himself. However, when he got there, he was a bit surprised to find that there were no signs of alien technology. He scanned around with the sonic screwdriver for a bit and while he was getting a few odd signals, it was more and more clear to him that whatever it was, it wasn’t alien.
“That’s a bit odd,” he thought, scratching his head, but he decided to continue exploring anywhere. Whatever was there, somehow managed to convince people of alien activity, so it might be worth investigating regardless. He walked around the park a bit, looking for any kind of strange activity. There were people outside, enjoying nature and kids playing on one of the playgrounds and certainly nothing too suspicious going on.
“Maybe it was a false alarm?” he thought as he took a seat on a bench. He noticed however that there was a woman sitting on the bench as well, dressed a bit warmly for the time of year. He shrugged it off, but decided it might be worth asking if she had seen anything. “Hello,” he introduced himself, “I’m the Doctor. Who might you be?”
