Since it’s never been properly documented(as far as I know), this is where those ‘Unused Executions’ for Danganronpa came from. This is from the DR 1&2 Reload Artbook. I looked through the whole book for SDR2 unused executions and saw none, which means the ones that have been floating around for years now are most likely fan work unless someone wants to point me to an official source.
Basic summaries of executions from what I can remember so please take it with a grain of salt or check the Danganronpa wikia since those have better descriptions IIRC:
Kiyotaka Ishimaru:
Gets rigged onto the top of a car and is driven around on it during a parade. He’s rigged to mechanism that forces him to wave to the onlookers, similar to a politician before he gets sniped to the heart by a Monokuma that apparently looks similar to the protagonist of Golgo 13.
Sayaka Maizono:
Ends up doing a performance where she must keep the fans excited. The excitement is measured by a meter, and the higher it goes, the longer she lives. Monokuma eventually gets tired of it and rigs it so the meter hits zero and everyone boos her before she dies
Byakuya Togami:
Essentially, Togami ends up losing all his wealth, assets, power, etc. and is in the cold. He eventually freezes to death dying like a plebeian.
Aoi Asahina:
Aoi gets forced to do a magic trick where she gets put in a sealed box full of water while getting chased around by a Shark until inevitably she either runs out of air or gets eaten.
Hifumi Yamada:
Hifumi ends up getting caught in a kaiju-esque battle between a mecha and his waifu. Somehow he ends up in the middle of them as they both do their finishing moves and Yamada gets disintegrated from existence. This unused execution was to be used in the Danganronpa Demo and also was used in the Danganronpa Demo manga.
Touko Fukawa:
Getting thrown into an empty room, Touko gets tricked into believing she’s going to get to kiss Togami before dying. In the middle of the room is Togami, and when she rushes to it, it turns out to be cardboard, she is then flattened by a steam roller.
Yasuhiro Hagakure:
Yasuhiro ends up on a gameshow type of situation where he has to randomly pick from one of three choices. He ends up getting killed by picking a box that turns out to be a mimic and eats him.
Sakura Oogami:
Sakura gets throw into a room with waves of Monokuma, where she has to take them down repeatedly Musou game style. Eventually the room gets flooded with way too many Monokuma and Sakura gets crushed to death.
Chihiro Fujisaki:
Chihiro gets rigged up to a virtual reality where he has to play a modified version of what seems to be Super Mario Bros. All the regular enemies are replaced by Monokuma chasing Chihiro down, and when Chihiro dies in the game, he dies in real life.
