so im taking part in @cloneappreciationweek‘s cloneweek event! good motivation to draw my ocs jdhkjdnhd

theme was brotherhood/siblings/friendship, and lunar nd upari were the first to come to mind! theyre absolute best buds, who’s entire dynamic is 

lunar: someone will die upari: of fun! :) 

lunar’s secretly a sap though and cares abt his siblings v much, so here’s a lil moment that happens more often than he’d care to admit

god i’ve been working on this for like 5 days at least, but i finally have full body refs for my entire clone squad! 

i know the republic wouldnt rly..let them have civilian clothes but armour hard i need an alternative

elana doesnt like the word ‘bounty hunter’, hence mercenary hdfkjhnd (i refuse to believe the republic didnt hire some mercs for help during the war, thats where she comes in)

elana was adopted by jaden’s family, they’re cousins, hence sharing a last name

obi wan was GOING to have a padawan in tcw, but ofc ahsoka was assigned to anakin instead, so i went ‘uhh...what if obi wan also got a new padawan like he genuinely requested???’ 

jaden and vatara have a Secret Forbidden Romance 🏳‍🌈

themians are an actual sw species! they appeared in 1 comic, so i followed the general skin/hair colour nd placement of facial markings, along with the pointy ears, but took some artistic liberty w/ the colours of the cheek ones bc you see like 2 themians at the most, there has to be some variety

i love like...colouring in clone armour and helmets but actually drawing th armour is my own personal hell, so i drew it once, then copy nd pasted it for the 2nd hmkfjnjhdkhnf

lunar and upari are Best Friends despite seeming like complete opposites

🌺 What does your OC do to calm down when they’re scared or after a nightmare? Do they have any special comfort items or need to be reassured by a specific person? How do they handle this if they’re alone?

i think upari would pace and go track someone down, usually lunar, he’d crave company during a time like that, but someone he trusts, bc being vulnerable with others wouldnt be as fun

if hes alone, hmmmm, well, itd be better than being around an acquaintance at a time like that, no embarrassment afterwards, but he definitely wouldnt cope a well, and would probably just patrol to get rid pf the nervous energy

absolutely!! hes a very tactile person, i think his affection wouldnt change much, everyone getting the same treatment! hes aro and not looking for a relationship, but ofc family wise, the keldabe kiss...yes...

he likes receiving affection yes! i think itd make him uncomfortable if hes not vibig and its not a certain person, but other than that he gucci

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

upari loves colour. kamino was so bland and pristine that seeing things like sunset and grass, the way the sun might filter through leaves, the bright pop of a neon diner sign, they really cheer him up, he named himself after a lighsaber crystal for a reason

bright wouldnt want to bother any of the others, so theyd stay up in the medbay arranging medpacks, sorting items, that kinda thing, until theyre too tired to think and theyd go back sleep. the others have caught them a few times, lunar will stay up with them and “help” wordlessly if he finds them, boom would probably try to get them to work on ships with him, change of scenery, im not sure abt the others, but in general, theyd try to get them to sleep

they do, but only from certain people, and they dont like being surprised with it

they dont use touch a lot, but if so it’d be very hand oriented, pats, hand holding, affection also coming out in just...telling people they love them, and only for close friends and family

receiving affection surprises them, and depending on how, they’ll be appreciative, but maybe a little uncomfy

smiles and like...wellness i guess?? seeing their siblings recovering from injuries makes them happy and sad, hey shouldnt have been injured in the first place, and it could so easily happen again, but it reminds them the galaxy can be forgiving sometimes, even just for a bit

in a similar way, theres nothing they like more than seeing their siblings happy
