Day 37 (March 16, 2014)
I don't know about you, but what really made my day today was Punkgong retweeting this.
Day 36 (March 15, 2014)
First day of interviews! Although there was one app who disappointed everyone, the other two apps did really well. Also, everything went smoothly in terms of preparations for the interview and I'm just glad it all worked out.
Also, this is a photo of Kit pimpin' it out at the "backstage" of the Formal Interviews room. Hahaha. So much UPCLAS love. :)
Day 32 (March 11, 2014)
It's been so long since we've had an Executive Committee meeting! Too bad our Socials and Logistics Committee Head wasn't present. It would've been nice if we were complete. :( It was a fun and productive meeting nonetheless. Love these guys so much! They always know how to make my day.
Day 31 (March 10, 2014)
Nepentrash prod with UPCLAS. It's always a good time with UPCLAS, even when we're doing work. :) Really hoping all this hard work will pay off in the end!
Day 29 (March 8, 2014)
UPCLAS 2013B's Apps' Party!
There are not enough words for me to express how much I love these kids. Sometimes, I get so caught up with the stress of working as UPCLAS' secretary and having to handle the apps as well... But all it takes to make me feel okay and get going again is to have one look at these kids.
I remember, at the beginning of their application process, some of the members were really iffy about having so many apps (there were 29 of them) because they were afraid that they might form cliques or just, in general, not really unite as a batch. Also, some were afraid that the other applicants seemed too shy and that it might cause them to not really participate in application activities. But, man, have these kids proved them wrong! Although some from the original batch have deferred, 22 of them remain. And as long as they do a good job with their interview, soon enough, they'll be really part of the family. I can't help but be excited for them!
Sometimes I like to think that they're a good batch of UPCLAS fledglings because I, along with the rest of the Internals Committee, was there to guide everybody each and every step of the way. But at the end of the day, I can't help but give the credit to them. They're a good batch because they consist of dedicated and passionate kids who really want to be a part of this org and who will stop at nothing to achieve that membership.
I'm so proud of these kids. Okay... I love these kids.
Oh, and as for the Apps' Party, it's really not something I can disclose to the public. But I think it's safe to say it was one insane night.
Day 25 (March 4, 2014)

My First Love (Oh, how I wish I were talking about a person.)
The University of the Philippines Circle of Landscape Architecture Students, more commonly known as UPCLAS, is the first organization I joined when i entered the UP College of Architecture. I’m not quite sure what made me want to join—fate, maybe? But I did; I wanted to be part of the organization so badly. I remember crying the night before our Formal Interview because I was so afraid I was gonna fail and not get into the org. But I passed; and even got a position of Finance Committee Head during my second year and the Secretary this academic year.
It was here that i found my family, my home. And I couldn’t thank God enough for giving me everything I needed—all in one group of the most crazy, fun, and loving people I will probably ever know. We may have been through our ups and downs, but we got past all that; and here we all are now, still standing.
Next year is UPCLAS’ Silver Anniversary, and my co-officers and I want nothing else but the best for UPCLAS. So we’re striving really hard to give next year’s Executive Committee Officers the best way to start the year, whilst making this year the best—our best—too. UPCLAS was and always will be my first love. ♥ I just cannot wait for more years with you, UPCLAS! UPCLAS Pataas!
