Yes. Yes I did stop posting for like 2 weeks. It was great. I actually went out and lived a little and hung out with wonderful people, had new experiences and made some great memories. It’s a thing and I made it. I’m thinking of putting it, and the others from this batch of crafting up on €t$¥. Or I might just try to find a place locally that is interested in hanging these pieces. I have enough of them I could do a proper art show in a winery tasting room or coffee shop… I just get overwhelmed at the thought of trying to figure out what spaces would be a good fit and then going around and asking if they would be interested in showcasing my art. I’m scared of the rejection that comes with putting myself out there like that. Works in Progress...

This is one of the things I’ve been up to the past few days.

Pairing hoops with doilies.

Selecting the thread.

Making colorful repairs (the small doilies were cut from a beyond repair tablecloth by the person who sold them to me on Etsy, and I needed to sew down the ends to keep the whole thing from unraveling).

Assembling the pieces together.

I still need to do the final embellishments. I am excited to add beads and buttons and bones, but I like how they are coming together so far.
