I enjoyed playing post-update Stardew Valley so much (with save edits, so I could just chill without worrying about money since I was just playing it that one session), that I started a fresh, for-reals-this-time legit file, not even any Predictor voodoo to peek at the future. It’s been super worth it so far :3

Obviously, it has a way to go, and it’ll go a lot slower than the cheat save, but that’s the point. I did get far enough on the old save to experience my fave new thing: fish ponds! Yeeting the first fish in there is hilarious and it’s super relieving knowing I only need to catch one of each difficult fish for bundles, requests, etc. since they multiply~

Interesting bug on the new save tho:

Wilderness Farm, obviously, but this dude spawned as I came home and just... stood there... menacingly...

I forgot to hit the mines right when they opened, so I couldn’t really do anything about him. Not enough energy left to cherry tap with a tool. :T
