Update #8
Hi guys :)
A short update from me for this blog.
You probably all saw my October Prompts list and this is now becoming a monthly thing. On the first day of every month, I will post a list with word prompts that are specific to that month. (Keep in mind, I’m Central European, so it will mostly be my own association with that month, especially when it comes to weather.) These prompts can be used for writing or doodling or whatever you come up with.
You don’t have to follow the order of the prompts, they just have numbers to show that you can have one prompt for every day of the month.
I also want to do more prompt lists in general, almost like the AU prompt lists from my main blog. Mostly about specific settings or relationship dynamics, etc. So if you have a request, maybe like your favourite trope, let me know!
So I hope you like them and have fun writing and doodling! :)

The Spell Brigade Update 8: Major Changes and More
The Spell Brigade Update 8 adds evening more to the online co-op games for Linux, Steam Deck, and Windows PC. Thanks to the creative spark of Bolt Blaster Games, the fun just keeps getting better. Which you can find on Steam Early Access and Humble Store. Get ready, Bolt Blaster has just released The Spell Brigade Update 8, and it’s packed with great new content, cool outfits, and the biggest discount the title has ever seen. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to jump into the action on Linux or Steam Deck, this is it.
Meet Maggie – The New Wizard!
Say hello to Maggie, the newest (and birdiest) update 8 addition to The Spell Brigade squad! Maggie’s got sharp eyes that let her spot pickups from miles away, and her unique spell, Aurora Wings, unleashes mystical birds that pick off enemies one by one. She also has style, skill, and wings — what more do you need?
Wizard Traits & Ranks – Play Your Style
The devs have also been listening to feedback and have completely reworked how wizards feel and play. Now, each wizard comes with their own unique traits that are due to make them stand out. For example:
Reginald is your lucky charm, with skills that trigger based on pure chance.
Aldric is the team’s healer, helping you stay alive when things get rough.
And Kavin… well, he’s just being his weird, unpredictable self.
Plus, every wizard now has ranks. The more you play, the higher you rank up, showing off your shiny new badges. It’s like leveling up in style!

Feeling brave? Try the new "Single Spell Mode," officially known as the Solitary Focus covenant. You’ll be stuck with just your starter spell, but as you progress, it evolves into something insanely powerful. It’s a whole new way to challenge yourself and show off your spell-slinging skills.
The Spell Brigade Supporter Pack Gets a Glow-Up with update 8!
Already got the Supporter Pack? Bolt Blaster is adding two new outfits for every wizard, and they’re completely free for current supporters.
The “Sketchy” outfit is a cool black and white concept art look.
The “Golden” outfit is for when you want to shine and flex on your teammates.
If you haven’t grabbed the Supporter Pack yet, now’s a great time.
25% Off – The Biggest Discount Yet!
Here’s the best part of Update 8: The Spell Brigade is 25% off during the Steam Spring Sale! It’s the biggest discount since the online co-op title released in Steam Early Access. Rail Route releases Update 8 with a sale
Programmer's day game update 8 hits Rail Route on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Due to the work and creative effort of the developer Bitrich.info. Still coming in strong with positive reviews on Steam Early Access. Falling on the 100th hexadecimal day of the year (or, to non-programmers, the 256th day of the year). If you missed Programmer's day, this is a celebration of the profession that brings us, among other things, video games. To Rail Route, though, the day also serves as an even more special occasion. Due to revel over the software that allows our trains to run on time. Since this is what the game is based on. “Programmer's day serves special importance to the Rail Route team. So, without modern dispatching software, our trains wouldn’t run on time!” Rail Route creator Zdeněk Doležal says. “Since we’re so inspired by the real-life dispatching software. We wanted to pay homage to its creators. And those who use it daily, in terms of a themed update.”
Rail Route - Tutorial Update Trailer
Programmer's day
In revel in thanks for the real-life computer aided dispatching systems (and the programmers that created them). The Rail Route’s Update 8 is adding advanced programmability functions to the game. Due to Programmer's day, the game now includes the ability to better program in-game sensors and signals. Which will also better respond to all kinds of scenarios. And, don’t worry – no need to be a programmer yourself. Rail Route’s programmability options are all made easy and accessible. Including sleek UI changes and drop-down boxes. And to improve the feel of a Programmer as a Dispatcher. Bitrich.info are including some new configuration options for the arrival and routing sensors. Rail Route’s Update 8 for Programmer's day also comes with a 20% discount on Steam. Dropping the price to $15.99 USD / £12.39 / 13,99€ until September 19th. Along with ongoing support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC.
