“Albus, I can’t do it.” Minerva was pacing in her office. She’d gotten up off her chair not long after Albus started his explanation.

“Please, Minerva, I know it’s a lot to ask, I understand, but-”

“No, Albus, you don’t.” she cut him short “It’s not that I don’t want to help, I quite literally cannot! I don’t have influence in the Ministry.”

“I know. You have something better: Their favor.” He countered.

“What?” She blinked, looking at Albus like he was crazy.

“Minerva, you are the star student of Hogwarts-”

“Riddle was the star student of Hogwarts.”

“Riddle was an underdog story. You are one of the only people I’ve ever met to have the Ministry throwing themselves at your feet and have the nerve to send them off.”

“That’s a bit conceited, isn’t it? Considering the other person to do that, lately, was you?” She smirked; arms crossed.

“Besides the point.” He waved off

Update Sunday 16/12

Hey everyone. I am still trying to continue Trouble at the town's bar but for now like I said I will have a another fic I will be posting. However at the moment I have a beta reader looking at it, so it might take a little time before it will be ready for posting.

Also I just wanted you to know I am also in wattpad under the same name. Now I know some of you go on A03 but I can't focus on too many site web at the moment.
