No, I'm not dead. Things have been crazy lately, have been doing some traveling, work and life stuff but I am going to be attempting a shift in my priorities here soon and hopefully that will allow for me to spark some creative juices and get back into writing. So, if you can, hold out a little longer.

Thankfully, with help from some of my writing partners, my muse is finally starting to emerge again!

I think I jumped into too much and got myself overwhelmed… I put a lot of thought into how my posts look and were formatted because I felt like some people valued that over my actual writing. Or at least sometimes, it seemed that way and honestly it made writing feel like a chore instead of an interest. So I’ve decided to try and shift my mindset this year. I want to write with people who enjoy my character. That’s it, plain and simple. Like some, I’m very self conscious of what I put out there and I’m tired of that. I know that feeling probably won’t fade, but I would rather keep my thoughts on people who enjoy my ideas and less on reaching out to those who just ignore me. I don’t mean for any of this to sound negative, just being truthful. And on that note, I’m going to do a mass unfollowing of people I’ve never interacted with. Please send me a message if you’d like to stay on the list. : )  Just trying to make this a safe place for myself and turn it into a hobby again, even if that means only a handful of mutuals.

HI HELLO THIS IS A DRABBLY-ESQUE CONVERSATION BETWEEN MOLLY'S MOM IN JAIL TO MOLLY'S GRANDMA. ENJOY-

"Hey mom, you finally picked up! We're finally getting out of this joint! Two months! can you believe it?"

"That's wonderful, dear. I can't wait to have you back home.. yeah, we've been real behaved and all."

"Hey- can I talk to Momo? I wanna let her know mama's on her way back!"

"S-sorry, dear... she's having a nap right now. you know how little ones are, either playing or napping."

"Ma, it's 5 in the afternoon. Jeez, you ain't been following our routine or nothing since we been gone, have ya?"

"Tina! I said no! Darn it, drop it already, okay?"

"Is it so wrong for a mother to want to talk to her baby? You been doin this for weeks, ma. "

"Eddie can't even get a moment! He's a parent too."

"It's just... not a good time right now. She's....moody. Very moody."

"Somethings going on, ma. What is it?"

"It's always excuse after excuse! The other week ya said she's over at the neighbors."

"She was. The McCoys little girl has taken a liking to Molly."

"The McCoys live 5 miles out, and Penny's , what, 10? What's she wanna do playin with a toddler?"

"Tina, you're just havin some pre-release anxieties. It's normal, yanno?"

"Maybe you're right. Ah.. my times almost up. Call again next Friday?"

"Course, see you then love."

"Bye, ma. Give Momo kisses for me, ok? And...tell her that Mommy and Daddy miss her so much and... and that we never meant to leave her, and none of this was her fault, and remember to do the funny voices with her book----" Dial tone.
