So… Where have we been for the last 3 days???

So its both Rebecca and Parker here! He’s gonna do his own text thing below- Chris kinda locked us out of the account? Plus, almost everyone else is on missions and ops… I swear we’re not ignoring you guys! We love the amount of support we’ve gotten over such a short time! But yeah, noted for future us- Don’t let a sleep deprived Chris onto Tumblr without Parker supervision…

With “Doctor High Hopes” now done with the pleasantries, we are gonna end up scaling back on answering asks (mostly due to how busy everyone’s been), so don’t freak out if no one answers an ask for a day or two. If we can’t keep getting the main gang together for bigger asks (Jake is AWOL being a merc, Chris runs the joint, etc.) we’re gonna see if we can get others in the BSAA, such as our interns, along with possibly the DSO and TerraSave (if we ever find Claire’s new number…). That way people can still ask questions without waiting for Jill to get back from Miami or something. That doesn’t mean stop asking! Hell, ask more. It’ll get our asses in gear to sit down and actually answer. Reblog or ask or whatever! Any support helps!

No obligation to read their info, it was mainly Tanue who got the most out of this update I feel. Since Tanue barely had any notes, even though I feel Nix got the most words put into his info, it's mainly just more random info. For Tanue it's more of a feel for his personality and stuff, and other interesting things about him.

Her cat puppet is operated through two hands usage. Both hands operate separately from her tail and the rest of her body. Her most noted characteristics is her powerful singing voice, her pink sparkling microphone, and her animated cat tail that easily gives away her emotions. She is the first Latina-coded puppet on the show that is multilingual in English and Spanish. Linda Ronstadt performed her debut voice in the 70s, as well as many other well recognized Hispanic artists after her.

Update to Editing Rates

Hey everyone!

We meant to announce this last year, but then cancer happened. Starting July 1, 2022 some of our editing prices will be going up. We can’t put it off any longer due to the costs of food, fuel, and paying our editors a viable wage.

The prices that will be changing are:

1) Manuscript Assessment will now have a minimum price of $25 for works under 25k. Works over 25k will keep the price of $1/1000 words.

2) Line Editing will now cost $8-12/1000 words.

3) Content Editing will now cost $14-19/1000 words.

4) Book Doctoring will now cost $22-32/1000 words.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any openings between now and July -- again cancer happened. To compensate somewhat for that, any client who currently has projects definitively scheduled with us will keep their quoted rates. But new projects and new clients will be quoted using this new rubric. We will be updating our website to reflect this.

We appreciate everyone supporting us. We really didn’t want to do this since we try to keep things affordable for our indie authors, however we need to be able to pay our bills too.
